Nuvias UC Now Distributing Revolabs Teleconferencing and Microphone Systems in the UK

SUDBURY, Mass. ― Feb. 1, 2018 ― The Nuvias UC Practice, formerly SIPHON, has added leading audio solutions from Revolabs as the newest product line in its unified communications (UC) portfolio. The move gives Nuvias partners access to world-renowned Revolabs and Yamaha UC technology and, thanks to the Yamaha YVC-1000MS Skype for Business-certified speakerphone, further strengthens Nuvias’ foothold in the Microsoft market.

Revolabs, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Yamaha Corporation and part of the Yamaha UC department, is a premier provider of audio solutions for unified communications, enterprise collaboration, and professional audio applications. The company’s teleconferencing and microphone systems are used across the globe for a variety of applications and will now be proudly distributed by Nuvias UC in the UK.

Given its technical expertise and grasp of the ever-changing Microsoft landscape, Nuvias UC is best suited to support Revolabs’ wide array of plug-and-play products, all of which provide flexibility and mobility without sacrificing audio quality. Nuvias will place special focus on the YVC-1000MS, a USB speakerphone and Yamaha’s first product certified for Skype for Business. The microphone and speaker system passed Skype for Business Certification Version 3 tests — Microsoft’s highest standards — providing natural, clear audio that defines the platform’s meeting experience.

Nuvias UC also intends to focus on other Revolabs products, including the Revolabs FLX™ UC 500, FLX UC 1000, and FLX UC 1500 USB conference phones; and the Yamaha CS-700 video sound collaboration system, a self-contained, wall-mounted video sound bar™ that equips huddle rooms with best-in-class audio, video, and screen-sharing capability while freeing up precious space.

Nuvias UC’s Commercial Director, Maryam Arbabi, said: “The Revolabs portfolio presents an exciting new opportunity for Nuvias UC and our customers. Revolabs’ integration and product development in the Skype for Business space, along with its high-quality audio and teleconferencing products, creates a unique offering for partners looking to grow their profitability through the attachment of these products.”

Commenting on the new relationship, Russell Harpham, director of EMEA at Revolabs, said, “Nuvias takes a solutions-led, flexible, adaptable approach to meeting its customers’ needs, and that philosophy meshes well with how we do business at Revolabs. By appointing Nuvias UC to our distribution channel, we can capitalize on that synergy and further strengthen our brand position in the UC/IT market and take our UC product lines — especially the new CS and YVC technologies — to a new audience in the UK marketplace.”
