Luxul and Global Caché Form Partnership

Luxul Routers, Global Caché IP-enabling Hardware, and Domotz Management Platform Deliver Ease of Use for Integrators
Amsterdam, NL  – February 6, 2018–– (ISE Stand 9-E150 and 1-Q120) Global Caché, the leading independent manufacturer of IP, WiFi, and HTTP enabling connectivity products for control and automation and Luxul, the leading innovator of IP networking solutions for CEDIA professionals, announced today they have formed an alliance to ensure their combined products provide hassle-free integration. By employing Domotz technology, built-in to the award winning Epic series of wired and wireless routers, Luxul products instantly recognize Global Caché devices, allowing seamless remote monitoring and management capability.
Global Caché’s products connect any IR, serial, and contact closure device to a WiFi and/or IP network so it can be controlled, automated, and maintained by network-based software. The company offers other connectivity products and capabilities, including HDMI switching, a Raspberry Pi module, sensor input, IR learning, HTTP communication, and the award-winning Control Tower IR database, available in the cloud (www.globalcache.com/controltower).
For integrators, Luxul’s Epic Series’ wired and wireless routers with integrated Domotz technology include groundbreaking features that save time and money by allowing integrators to remotely manage and support their clients’ networks and all connected devices, eliminating the need for truck rolls and service calls. The routers also feature Router Limits content management technology, which puts homeowners and business owners in control of their Internet experience. Using an interface that is accessible from anywhere, clients can choose which devices are capable of using the web, which websites are okay, and the days and times the Internet should be available.
“With so many installations and dealers/installers in common, it makes all the sense in the world for Luxul to partner with Global Caché,” said Mike Grubb, Luxul VP of marketing. “With Luxul providing the network infrastructure, along with built-in monitoring and management, and Global Caché proving the connectivity hardware to connect devices to our network, it’s definitely a good fit. We’ve already received glowing feedback from the dealers installing both companies’ equipment. Tasks such as remote power cycling, including PoE devices, auto notifications, IP address reporting, so much more is possible using our combined equipment. We’re really pleased to partner with Global Caché.”
Robin Ford, Global Caché VP of business development says, “We’re excited to partner with Luxul, and along with the Domotz partnership we forged last year, a Luxul/Global Caché install now instantly delivers on the promise of easy deployment, monitoring, and management of IP networks and wired and wireless connected devices. From the time we started Global Caché in 2002, we have been promoting and educating on the advantages of IP networking. We partner with best of breed companies that provide a solution for the dealer and installer channel we serve. This partnership delivers on all that and we know the channel will love this new alliance. I know we sure do.”
