Calgary, Alberta — March 6, 2018 — Nureva Inc., an award-winning collaboration-solutions company, announces that its HDL300 audio conferencing system has won an Excellence in Product Innovation Award in the Trailblazing Innovation category. The fourth annual awards from the National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA) recognize products that have a profound impact on systems integrators in the commercial space as well as impact user experience. The winning entries in seven categories were chosen by a judging panel that included NSCA’s executive director, the editor of Commercial Integrator and a panel of integrators from across North America.
The HDL300 audio conferencing system is an advanced innovation that takes an entirely different approach to meeting room microphone technology. At its core is Nureva’s Microphone Mist™ technology, which places 8,192 virtual microphones throughout a room to pick up sound from any location to ensure that everyone is heard clearly regardless of where they are in the room or the direction they are facing. The system uses sophisticated algorithms to simultaneously process sound from all virtual microphones to provide remote participants with a clear and natural listening experience, enabled by continuous autocalibration, simultaneous echo cancellation, position-based automatic gain control and sound masking. The HDL300 system is optimized for small to mid-sized spaces up to 20′ x 20′ (6.10 x 6.10 m) and has a maximum operating range of 30′ x 30′ (9.10 x 9.10 m). The HDL300 system works with all leading UC&C platforms. It installs on the wall in 30 minutes or less and calibration is automatic. Updates to the system’s firmware are also automatic through the Nureva audio manager.
“We are very honored to have the HDL300 system named as a trailblazing innovation in this year’s Excellence in Product Innovation Awards,” said Nancy Knowlton, Nureva’s CEO. “We believe many more exciting innovations are ahead, as we continue to develop the Microphone Mist technology platform to serve the needs of our customers.”
