KanexPro UltraSlim switcher centerpiece of classroom collaboration

Due to the environment of the installation, DigiTech Integration had to complete the installation quickly with very minimal footprint in the classroom. In pairing the UltraSlim 4K HDMI 4×1 Switcher and 1×4 Splitter paired with their 8-Button Control-Based IP Keypad and IR/RS-232 and Relay Controller, DigiTech Integration provided their client with the specific capabilities they needed to enhance interactivity within the classroom. “Our client is incredibly satisfied with the final system. Especially in a classroom, reliability is imperative,” explained Sanchez. “The teachers are able to display content from their desktop icon or a keypad controller to multiple televisions, simultaneously and in high-resolution, while controlling each display with the simple touch of a button. Following the initial phase, we’ll be incorporating additional KanexPro UltraSlim Switchers and Splitters with 8-Button IP Keypads and IR/RS-232 and Relay Controllers into new classrooms within the same school.”
The KanexPro UltraSlim HDMI 4×1 Switcher (SW-4X1SL18G) is an auto-switcher featuring four inputs and one output, which auto-identifies input resolutions up to four HDMI devices to one 4K display. The UltraSlim HDMI 1×4 Splitter (SP-1X4SL18G) is designed to split on HDMI source to four 4K UHD displays. The UltraSlim HDMI 4×1 Switcher and HDMI 1×3 Splitter support 4:4:4 color space, 4Kx2K @ 60Hz, and 18 Gbps of bandwidth. The duo can be controlled from the front panel, IR remote or through RS-232 commands.
The KanexPro 8-Button Control-Based IP Keypad (WP-IPKEYPAD8) is an eight-button, multi-purpose keypad based over TCP/IP for controlling various audio-visual devices, including DVD players, projectors, relay bases screens and much more. With the 8-Button Control-Based IP Keypad, users can control up to 16 physical macro buttons and up to an additional 16 software-based macro buttons. The Integrated IR/RS-232 and Relay Controller (CR-3XCONTROL) includes eight external trigger connections, which directly activates user defined macro events stored within the unit, enabling commands to remote devices via Ethernet, IR, relay trigger, or RS-232/422/485.
