CEDIA launches new website to highlight award winners and finalists

The site will also feature case studies for each recipient

CEDIA has launched a design forward website (www.cediaawards.org) to showcase CEDIA Award winners and finalists projects as well as the year’s Best New Product and Product Hall of Fame winners. In addition to the newly launched website CEDIA Award winners and finalists have all received a personalized case study to utilize when talking with clients and design and build professionals.

“We are thrilled to launch this new benefit for those member companies who represent the best of technical excellence and innovation in the industry,” said Cris Pyle, CEDIA vice president of marketing and industry relations. “Providing this platform will really drive engagement across the board, from homeowners, to design and build professionals, to top tier media.”

Giles Sutton, CEDIA senior vice president of industry engagement adds, “ Over the years we’ve had such fantastic feedback about how the program has helped companies win new business – and this is just one more tool companies can utilize to show their expertise. The way projects are presented provides an easy way to really dig in to understand the ins-and-outs and see the fantastic project imagery, as well as easily link to the integrators’ web site for more information. I think our manufacturer members will also be very pleased to see themselves highlighted in equipment lists for each project.”

The CEDIA Awards program continues to be one of the most effective ways to demonstrate the work of the industry to audiences who are less familiar with home technology. This year CEDIA Award winners and finalists have enjoyed coverage in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, The Financial Times, and The Sunday Times which all represent some of the largest consumer media outlets globally.

The 2020 CEDIA Awards program is set to open for submissions on January 13, 2020. This year, the awards submission process will be run on a new easy-to-use platform, and CEDIA has worked to streamline the entry requirements so it is easier for members to enter. Projects completed between March 2018 and March 2020 will be accepted for the 2020 program.
