The event, canceled due to coronavirus concerns, will be rescheduled for later this year
CEDIA would like to express our concern for everyone impacted by the COVID-19 coronavirus. Based on our close monitoring of ongoing developments, recent reports from public health officials, and consultation with the government of British Columbia, CEDIA has decided to cancel the Vancouver Tech Summit scheduled for March 12, 2020, but does plan to reschedule for later in the year.
The health and safety of our staff and anyone planning to attend our events is of the utmost importance to CEDIA. As such, we believe this is the most prudent action to take at this time.
CEDIA is closely monitoring and following the travel and safety advice and precautions recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) as well as by relevant government health agencies at a regional and local level.
As of today, our London (March 31) and California (Woodland Hills, March 31 and Irvine, April 2) events will take place as scheduled. This situation remains very fluid and should a cancellation or a reschedule need to occur, we will notify all relevant participants and attendees.
[…] CEDIA’s Vancouver Tech Summit, planned for March 12, has also been canceled with a rescheduled event expected to take place later this year. The organization has also cancelled Tech Summits in California and Texas slated for later this month and in April. […]
