CEDIA Expo 2020 is still happening, just not in the way you might expect. The show will be taking place online as CEDIA Expo Virtual September 15-17. In 1989, CEDIA was founded by a group of professionals dedicated to innovating the then-fledling Audiovisual industry. It has since grown from being considered a hobby to one of the largest industries for manufacturers, distributors and integrators on both the commercial and residential side. What started as a show in Amelia Island, FL hosting 500 attendees has become one of the premier venues for showcasing up-and-coming technology for our industry. CEDIA Expo 2020 was scheduled to take place in person in Denver, CO on September 8-12. Since then the COVID-19 pandemic has caused many events including CEDIA to be postponed or cancelled. Instead, CEDIA has worked to bring the show’s experience online as part of CEDIA Expo Virtual taking place September 15-17.
