Xilica partnered with global audio specialist Sennheiser to develop an integrated room solution. The collaboration’s goal is to minimize installation time, improve audio quality, and enhance collaboration for end-users. The partnership will leverage audio products from both companies.

The complete solution pairs the Sennheiser TeamConnect Ceiling 2 beamforming microphone array with Xilica’s ecosystem DSP, user interfaces, and network endpoints. The whole solution ensures speech intelligibility for physical and remote participants in hybrid spaces. End-users will have the flexibility to move throughout their space and present in their own style, eliminating the risk of inaudibility.

Part of the partnership allows Sennheiser to enable support of their TrueVoicelift functionality across Xilica’s Solaro Series of DSPs. This will simplify the installation of multiple Sennheiser TCC2 microphones through automatic testing and calibration of audio. TrueVoicelift provides noise reduction, speaker amplification and creates targeted zones in busy areas to highlight participants speaking. The complete solution offers end-to-end mute status sync for Microsoft Teams enabling a software-based mute action.
