Middle Atlantic Offers Crestron Certified Module for NEXSYS UPSs With RackLink

Middle Atlantic Products, Inc. produces high-quality support and protection products for integrated AV systems in residential, commercial, broadcast, and security applications, ensuring system reliability and efficient installation.

Middle Atlantic Products, part of Legrand | AV, has introduced a Crestron-certified module for the NEXSYS Series UPS Backup Power System, simplifying installation and management.

The integration provides customers with enhanced control and management capabilities of their NEXSYS UPS systems through Crestron control systems. This development aims to improve the ease and flexibility of installations and operations, offering better support for intelligent system control, logging, data management, and environmental control features, thereby meeting the evolving needs of AV integrators and end-users.

Middle Atlantic Products, a brand of Legrand | AV, today announced its NEXSYS™ Series UPS Backup Power System with RackLink™ now features full integration with Crestron control systems. Developed by Control Concepts, the new module certified by Crestron enables native control of NEXSYS UPSs from Creston control systems.

“Native support of RackLink’s intelligent system control, logging and data management, environmental control, and protection features is a key benefit for our customers,” said Nyron Kahrim, UPS Product Manager, Legrand | AV. “This module makes it even easier for integrators to install and manage our NEXSYS Series UPSs with Crestron control systems that fully support these features.”

The new module, certified by Crestron for NEXSYS Series UPS Backup Power System with RackLink, is now available in the Crestron Application Market and the product pages and Power Downloads page on legrandav.com. The new NEXSYS firmware update (1.10.08), also available on legrandav.com, is required to activate the functionality.

“Flexibility is important for our customers when it comes to integrating the devices they rely on as part of their Crestron room ecosystem,” said Crestron Director of Technology Partner Programs, Bob Bavolacco. “This new module works hand in hand with our system, bringing freedom and ease to installs and the control experience.”

The NEXSYS line of interactive UPSs are available now with the NEXSYS UPX Online UPS series coming in July.
