Integrated Systems Europe is back in the physical space for 2022, and AVNation is on the ground in Barcelona to see everything innovative in the AV space. We join Legrand Product Manager Mark Devlaeminck in the huge Legrand booth to discuss Middle Atlantic’s contribution to the hybrid workspace, the Forum collaboration suite.
Middle Atlantic developed Forum with the hybrid workspace in mind, and the future of collaboration. The display stand is designed to allow for either an open plan setting or something more akin to traditional meeting spaces. It features an acoustic fabric treatment to limit audio reverb and deliver a high quality experience for both local and remote participants. The access doors on the front of the display slide open for immediate access to equipment, with options for thermal management. The mount can support up to 75-inch displays, and can be adjusted for either sitting or standing spaces.
Adding to the theme of collaboration and options are the optional tables. They come in two flavors, the Forum Angle tables that come in the size of 3 or 5 extra participants, allowing everyone’s faces to be seen within the call. A similar Forum Arc table supports 3 people and allows for direct interface with remote attendees. Each table is manufactured with compact laminate for a thin but durable surface to handle many different day-to-day meetings, along with built-in cable management in the legs for no cord clutter.
More information about the Forum collaboration suite, Middle Atlantic’s other products and Legrand can be found on their website.
AVNation is a news outlet made by and for audiovisual professionals. Every one of our panelists, writers, producers, and hosts has worn a hat or several within the AV industry. It’s this unique experience that gives us a fresh look at the industry as a whole and allows us to engage with end-users, technology managers, IT managers, and AV integrators in a meaningful way. Everything that AVNation does in events like InfoComm and CEDIA Expo is in part made possible by our supporters and underwriters who provide financial support for AVNation.
