In Las Vegas, AVNation’s Brian Heidgerken is on the InfoComm 2022 show floor with Mark Barragan, Zoom Rooms Sales Lead at Zoom. Mark and his team are excited by the foot traffic and the opportunity to meet customers face-to-face.
Before the pandemic, video conferencing was always done in a conference room—now, it’s done anywhere and everywhere. It was a huge challenge for Zoom initially to create products that work for people in the office and outside of it. Soon, they stepped up to the plate with Smart Gallery. With partners like Neat and Poly, this innovation empowers more meeting equity with additional cameras and angles.
Zoom is just getting started. The goal is to create equal video conferencing opportunities for all participants. Smart Gallery is a more affordable and scalable take on telepresence.
Their latest technology is focused on the hybrid workforce. While some questioned whether Zoom would be relevant in a post-pandemic world, Mark believes that their work is just as important—if not more important than ever.
Next, Mark walks Brian through a Zoom Room demo.
