CEDIA Expo 2023 is one of the biggest trade shows for the AV industry, focusing on the latest innovations for the residential space. Matt Scott somehow managed to escape the Canadian border to come down to Denver and see what companies like Crestron were showcasing on the floor. He had a chat with Crestron’s Senior Director of Marketing for Global Residential, Marine & Hospitality Michael Short about the newest additions they had for Crestron Home OS 4.
One of Crestron’s biggest focal points for OS 4 is user experience. That means a major overhaul of the design, with larger icons, easier readability and customizability to view rooms in different categories. They have also implemented Xfinity voice control through their TSR-310 remote.
They also showcased their lighting control systems, including the ability to integrate other lighting solutions into one platform. They have taken the OS 4 experience to other platforms to provide a seamless experience.
More information about Crestron and their products can be found on their website. All of AVNation’s coverage of CEDIA Expo 2023 and more can be found here.
