Blackmagic Design Showcases Groundbreaking Tech at InfoComm 2024

At InfoComm 2024, Blackmagic Design’s Bob Caniglia joined AVNation’s Tim Albright to unveil an impressive lineup of new products and innovations in AV over IP and video production.

SMPTE 2110 AV over IP Solutions

Blackmagic introduced a user-friendly Ethernet router and throwdown boxes to simplify video over IP. These solutions cater to video-centric users, enabling long-distance video transmission while maintaining traditional AV workflows.

New Camera Lineup

The latest additions include the compact Micro Studio 4K G2 and the high-end Ursa C 12K cameras, now featuring live streaming capabilities by tethering a cell phone. This versatility allows for use in live events, cinema-quality productions, and direct live broadcasts.

Enhanced ATEM Mini 4K Switchers

The new ATEM Mini 4K switchers come in 1ME, 2ME, and 4ME models with up to 40 inputs, designed for diverse applications from traditional broadcasts to live events. New panels provide enhanced control and flexibility for various production needs.
