Lumens LC300S Media Processor Adds 12G-SDI 4K Recording

Lumens Digital Optics Inc. has launched the LC300S media processor, designed to deliver high-quality 4K video capture via 12G-SDI and HDMI inputs. This powerful device offers flexible recording, streaming, and storage options, making it suitable for both UltraHD and 1080p workflows. Whether used as a multi-channel HD switcher or a dedicated 4K media processor, the LC300S provides enhanced features like graphic overlays and custom layouts, catering to diverse AV production needs.

With support for NDI HX3, High Bandwidth NDI, and multiple video inputs including IP, SDI, HDMI, and USB webcams, the LC300S is versatile and easy to operate. It seamlessly integrates with popular platforms like Panopto and Kaltura, allowing centralized control for automated content creation and distribution. Part of Lumens’ CaptureVision range, the LC300S combines user-friendly functionality with professional-grade performance, ideal for IT teams managing complex AV environments.

Lumens Digital Optics Inc. has announced the LC300S media processor with 4K capture via 12G-SDI and HDMI and UltraHD streaming. Its 12G-SDI and HDMI inputs, the LC300S is able to encode 4K video sources for internal recording, offload to network storage and live streaming to local decoders and online platforms.

LC300S shares all the other functionality of its stable mate, the LC300 media processor. Both support four channels of HD video including NDI HX3 and High Bandwidth NDI streams. Powerful and flexible, LC300S and LC300 units feature easy-to-use functions such as scheduled operations, source switching and mixing, multi-channel recording and streaming, and both internal and network-based file storage.

Easy to operate standalone, and optimized for integration with Panopto or Kaltura platforms, LC300S supports remote system control and management, enabling organizations to automate and centralize media production and distribution. For the ultimate flexibility, video inputs include IP, NDI, SDI and HDMI cameras and USB webcams, with multiple independent XLR audio inputs.

LC300S joins the LC100 and LC200 units in the Lumens CaptureVision range. Sharing the same design, system control and user interface, they can be desktop or rack mounted.
