Atlona Joins SDVoE Alliance as Adopting Member, Launches New SDVoE-Powered Product

Atlona has officially joined the SDVoE Alliance as an adopting member and launched its new PRO5 Series – a next-gen matrix switching solution powered by SDVoE technology. The series is designed for long-distance, point-to-point AV transmission using standard 10GbE networks. Its flagship product, the AT-PRO5-MX810, is an 8×10 matrix switcher that supports 4K HDR video and audio, offering both copper and fiber connectivity options. Built for professional AV environments, the system enables high-performance AV, Ethernet, and control signal transmission over CAT6a or fiber optic cable.

With built-in features like video wall processing, 4K up/downscaling, and frame rate conversion, the PRO5 Series gives integrators more flexibility and power in system design. The SDVoE Alliance, a nonprofit consortium of technology providers collaborating to standardize the adoption of Ethernet to transport AV signals in professional AV environments, announces Atlona, a leading manufacturer of AV distribution, AV over IP, collaboration and control solutions for educational and commercial environments, has joined the SDVoE Alliance as an adopting member.

In conjunction with its membership, Atlona has unveiled the PRO5 Series, an innovative matrix switching solution featuring SDVoE technology for long distance, point-to-point extension. The PRO5 Series is anchored by the AT-PRO5-MX810, an 8×10 matrix switcher with HDMI inputs and SDVoE extension outputs for transmission of 4K HDR video and audio to companion PRO5 Series receivers. Each SDVoE output features copper or fiber optic connectivity for extending 4K/UHD @ 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling and HDR formats.

This new solution offers high performance extension of AV, Gigabit Ethernet, and control signals through standard 10GbE connectivity with CAT6a UTP or fiber optic cable. The PRO5 Series harnesses advanced video processing capabilities, including video wall processing, 4K video upscaling and downscaling, and frame rate conversion. These and many additional features provide customers with enhanced visual fidelity and options to tailor to their unique system integration needs.
