Crestron is introducing a 5% tariff surcharge on all hardware items starting May 1, 2025. This surcharge will be added to the total gross amount on invoices before any discounts, taxes, or shipping costs, but it won’t apply to services or software subscriptions. The goal is to stay transparent and keep partners informed as international tariff policies continue to shift.
Because tariffs can change quickly, Crestron notes that this surcharge — and how it’s applied — might be updated again in the future. Any changes will be shared through the Pro Portal and on order confirmations to make sure customers stay in the loop.
At Crestron, we remain committed to the partnership we’ve built and strive to provide transparent communication about changes that affect our global customer base.
Due to the fluidity of international tariff policies, we are adjusting our tariff surcharge implementation plan as follows:
- Effective May 1, 2025, a 5% tariff surcharge will be added to all invoices issued by United States-based Crestron Electronics, Inc.
As of the effective date, the tariff surcharge will be applied to the total gross amount of all hardware items on each invoice prior to any discounts, sales tax, or shipping charges. It will not apply to services and software subscriptions.
Given the dynamic nature of the situation, the tariff surcharge rate and application remain subject to change. As global tariff policies evolve, we will continue to monitor developments that may require future adjustments and will communicate any changes through the Pro Portal and on order confirmations.
