BenQ Teams Up With Clever to Offer Effortless SSO

BenQ has partnered with Clever to offer seamless single sign-on (SSO) access for educators using BenQ smart displays. Clever, used by over 77% of U.S. K–12 schools, is now integrated with BenQ’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution. This allows teachers to log into BenQ Boards, digital signage, and smart projectors using their school credentials—no need for IT teams to manually set up accounts or manage multiple login systems.

This integration helps IT teams by syncing the Clever directory directly with BenQ IAM, cutting down administrative time. Teachers can also log in quickly using NFC cards or QR codes to instantly access tools like Google Play apps and EZWrite. The aim is to simplify classroom tech and give educators more time to teach without technical roadblocks.

Clever serves 95 of the nation’s 100 largest school districts, enabling quick and secure access to devices and educational resources. Globally, Clever is used in more than 12,000 school districts. By syncing Clever with BenQ’s IAM, teachers can log on to BenQ Boards, digital signage, and smart projectors with SSO using their existing school credentials. This eliminates the need for IT teams to manually create accounts and allows teachers to securely access all their apps, websites, and cloud storage without having to log out of each service after every class. This streamlined approach saves time and ensures a smoother teaching experience.

Integrating Clever with BenQ IAM also simplifies both account management and login. IT staff can sync the Clever user directory with IAM, eliminating the need to manage separate user lists. In addition, teachers can log in effortlessly using an NFC card or QR code, gaining instant access to their teaching tools, including thousands of Google Play apps and the EZWrite interactive whiteboard.
