AMETEK SurgeX launches Axess ELITE+

AMETEK SurgeX has introduced the Axess ELITE+, a next-gen rack-mounted power management system designed to protect critical AV and IT equipment. It features the company’s proven Advanced Series Mode® surge elimination, remote monitoring, and IP-controlled outlets. With built-in cloud connectivity via SurgeX CONNECT, integrators and IT managers can remotely monitor power quality, manage devices, and reduce on-site service calls, saving time and operational costs.

Axess ELITE+ supports integration with third-party control systems and offers smart tools like AutoPing, power sequencing, scheduling, and threshold-triggered events. Designed for both commercial and residential setups, it simplifies remote power control across multiple locations, enhancing performance and reliability, while protecting sensitive systems from surge damage without creating harmful electrical noise.

The non-sacrificial proprietary Advanced Series Mode technology eliminates surge energy without producing harmful side effects such as ground contamination or common-mode disturbances. Axess ELITE+ is equipped with 9 NEMA or 11 IEC individually switchable outlets, including a convenient and integrator-friendly front service outlet, whilst a swappable locking power cord, external temperature and humidity sensors and a locking on/off switch further enhance safety and customization.

Advanced remote management features include the ability to turn outlets on and off, cycle power and sequence devices, as well as advanced scheduling, AutoPing and threshold-triggered events. Each outlet can be managed and monitored for precise control of installations. Axess ELITE+ is also compatible with popular third-party control systems for straightforward integration in residential and commercial applications.

Axess ELITE+ joins SurgeX’s Protect + Connect product line. All SurgeX Protect + Connect products are compatible with the SurgeX CONNECT platform comprising powerful cloud-based software and firmware, enabling integrators to easily manage an entire estate of compatible SurgeX devices across multiple sites, diagnose power quality issues and monitor installations from a centralized hub.
