Extron Now Shipping Powerful 4K Collaboration and Presentation Switcher with USB-C and Dual HDMI Inputs

Extron has launched the UCS SW 313, a compact yet powerful 4K collaboration and presentation switcher tailored for meeting and UC (unified communications) spaces. It features three inputs, USB-C and dual HDMI, along with five USB ports for connecting peripherals like cameras and microphones, all supporting fast data transfer up to 10Gbps. The USB-C input not only handles audio and video but also delivers 60W of power to charge laptops, making it a streamlined solution for modern collaboration needs.

This switcher simplifies connectivity for Teams and Zoom meetings by integrating local AV sources with remote participants. With auto-switching, Ethernet control, and RS-232 display control, it minimizes the need for manual interaction, ensuring a smooth and intuitive experience in huddle rooms, conference spaces, or classrooms.

Extron is pleased to announce the immediate availability of the UCS SW 313, a powerful collaboration and presentation switcher designed to meet the needs of presentation, unified communications, and other meeting spaces. The UCS SW 313 features three inputs that support the connection of USB and dual HDMI sources and five USB device ports connect to peripherals such as USB cameras and microphones at rates up to USB 10Gbps. The USB-C input provides video and audio, USB data, and 60 watts of power to charge a user’s laptop computer. The HDMI output provides signal for the room display and supports resolutions up to 4K/60.
