HP Poly Unifies Management, AI Room Solutions, and Headset Innovation at InfoComm 2026

At InfoComm 2026, Tim Albright chatted with Greg Baribault of HP Poly to discuss how the company is bringing together device management, workplace analytics, room technology, and personal collaboration tools. The announcements reflect a broader industry focus on improving visibility into technology investments while enhancing meeting experiences through artificial intelligence.

One of the key topics was the integration of Poly Lens with HP’s Workforce Experience Platform (WXP). The combined solution gives organizations a single platform for managing conferencing and collaboration devices while providing insights into how meeting spaces are being used.

According to Baribault, the platform helps information technology (IT) and audiovisual (AV) teams understand the return on investment of room technology deployments. Existing Poly Lens users will see the experience migrate into WXP, creating what HP describes as a single-pane-of-glass approach to device management and workplace analytics. The platform is also designed with application programming interface (API) connectivity, including integrations with ticketing and service management systems such as ServiceNow.

HP Poly also introduced two new room compute solutions built on Intel processors. The compact systems support Microsoft Teams and Zoom environments and include onboard Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capabilities for local artificial intelligence processing.

The company is expanding its AI Director technology as well. Future enhancements will support multi-camera, outside-in room views designed to capture participants from multiple angles. The goal is to better represent in-room interactions, including facial expressions and non-verbal reactions that can be lost in traditional video conferencing environments.

Another major announcement was the launch of the HP Poly Focus 6 Bluetooth headset. Designed for hybrid workers and frequent video meeting participants, the headset emphasizes appearance, comfort, and sustainability.

The Focus 6 features replaceable ear cushions, a removable battery, wireless charging, active noise cancellation, and a concealed boom microphone. Baribault noted that the headset delivers up to 25 hours of talk time and includes Poly’s established audio technology with a four-microphone design. A foldable version is also available, making it easier for mobile professionals to carry between meetings and work locations.
