In Las Vegas, AVNation’s Bradford Benn is in the InfoComm 2022 studio with Joel Hall of custom speaker and technology concealment manufacturer Leon Speakers. The company is actually celebrating its 25th anniversary at the show.

Leon Speakers knows that end users want all the benefits of technology, but they don’t necessarily want to see it. Leon bridges that gap.

Their speakers are built to the exact height and width of TVs for the cleanest look possible. One of the benefits of being a custom shop is that they can come forward with unique knowledge and solutions.

They have a tremendous amount of resources to bring projects to completion, resulting in a seamless design.

The bread and butter at Leon Speakers is the boardroom (and conference rooms), but their work stretches across a variety of industries and verticals. They have an entire suite of products to meet the needs of each and every consumer that comes to them.

While integrators work to meet the functional requirements of a space, Leon Speakers’ job is to come in and meet the aesthetic requirements of a space. Ideally, they work with interior designers and architects, but often they also work directly with the end user.

For more information on Leon Speakers’ business or products, visit their website here. You can also find them on social media, @LeonSpeakers.

In Las Vegas, AVNation’s Bradford Benn is in the InfoComm 2022 studio with Barrie McCorkle of D-Tools, a complete audio-visual solution for integrators. His company takes customers through the entire job flow, from blueprints to billing.

They work across all verticals: pro and commercial, residential, education, hospitality, entertainment, and more.

They have two versions of software. The first is system integrator software, which is both their flagship and their legacy software—extremely robust. The other fantastic option is the D-Tools Cloud software. They haven’t pushed that as much in the InfoComm community, but it’s now advanced enough for all to benefit from. They’re constantly working to make both software the best they can be.

D-Tools is truly the only end-to-end software solution. There are other companies that do bits and pieces, but no others that fully encompass the work that D-Tools does.

As for big announcements at InfoComm 2022, they’re excited to promote a feature called quantity based quoting. This makes the software more easily usable for salespeople to create jobs and then pass those jobs on to designers.

The other feature is inventory tracking. Now, consumers can keep tabs on inventory throughout the entirety of a job.

For more information on D-Tools’ business or products, visit their website here. You can also find them on social media, @DTools.

In Las Vegas, AVNation’s Bradford Benn is in the InfoComm 2022 studio with Josh Rush, Chief Marketing Officer at Audinate. Josh is happy to be at InfoComm to interact with coworkers and consumers in person again.

One of the main topics of this year’s show has been the stock and availability of products. Audinate sits in a unique place within the industry in that they work with more than 500 manufacturers. It gives them a unique power and perspective on recent supply chain issues.

While his company is focused on AV products, Josh understands that this is a larger, more global issue caused by current events.

Even before the pandemic, Audinate began rolling out software-based solutions—a recommendation that Josh has for other industry leads. He also encourages forward planning and flexibility.

Audinate’s most well-known product is Dante. The exciting thing is that in the last 12 months, their latest products have hit the shelves. So, at the show, they’ve been showing off Dante AV on the floor. Josh says they have gotten a very positive reaction to the product, especially now that it’s available to all.

They’ve designed Dante to integrate with existing infrastructure environments. It’s very high quality, but still operating on a 1-gig network. It’s a very well synchronized solution.

In Las Vegas, AVNation’s Rich Fregosa is on the InfoComm 2022 show floor with Chaz Porter, Director of Global Sales at FSR. After going through such unprecedented times, Chaz explains that the synergy and dynamic of the show have been fantastic. To say it’s great to be back would be an understatement.

Often an event like InfoComm can be an excellent opportunity for networking, but Chaz points out that the long waiting time since the last in-person show has brought people back with an intensity and a seriousness for learning about new products.

One of the latest innovations that FSR is showing off at their booth is PWB-CMU, a project wall box for masonry walls. One of the things that FSR has found is that there are more and more projects that require customers to go through concrete walls. At this show, they’ve added to this line—now, they have a variety of products that all work for these kinds of spaces. FSR is committed to coming up with solutions to increase connectivity for their customers.
