ISE Celebrates Back-to-Back Sammy Award Win for Bold ‘Push Beyond’ Campaign

Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) has earned its second consecutive Sammy (Sales and Marketing Excellence) Award, winning the Creative Awards – Power Players category for its “Push Beyond” campaign. The campaign inspired the global AV and systems integration community to embrace innovation, collaboration, and growth while helping ISE 2026 achieve record attendance, exhibitor participation, and audience engagement.

The award recognizes how “Push Beyond” successfully connected a bold creative vision with measurable business results, encouraging the industry to think beyond traditional boundaries. Looking ahead, ISE will continue building on that momentum when the industry gathers again at Fira de Barcelona, Gran Via, from February 2–5, 2027.

Integrated Systems Europe (ISE), the world’s leading tech show for the professional audiovisual and systems integration industry, has, for the second year running, been awarded The Sammy (Sales and Marketing Excellence) Award winning the category ‘Creative Awards – Power Players’, from the Business Intelligence Group.

The award recognises the creative campaign that captured the ambition of ISE 2026: to energise the global AV community, champion excellence and inspire the industry to keep moving further, faster and with greater purpose. ISE 2026 saw record numbers of attendees, exhibitors and audience engagement.

The Sammy Award judges recognised the strategic strength, highlighting a well-structured story that connected creative ambition with clear business objectives, measurable outcomes and attendance growth in a challenging market. “When an entire category is in decline, most teams play defence. ISE did the opposite –  they turned ‘Push Beyond’ into a rallying cry that united their internal teams and challenged an entire industry to think bigger. That kind of bold, two-word clarity is exactly what creative excellence looks like, and it’s why ISE earned its place among our 2026 winners.” said Russ Fordyce, Chief Recognition Officer at the Business Intelligence Group.

More than a campaign message, ‘Push Beyond’ created a confident framework for the year, engaging audiences before, during and beyond the show while encouraging the industry to move beyond convention and redefine what’s possible.

“To be recognised with a Sammy Award for the second consecutive year is a tremendous achievement for ISE and a reflection of the creativity, aspiration and commitment of our entire team,” said Mike Blackman, Managing Director of Integrated Systems Events. “With ‘Push Beyond’, we wanted to reflect the energy of a global community that continues to challenge expectations, drive progress and shape the future of AV and systems integration.”

ISE returns to Fira de Barcelona, Gran Via, from 2–5 February 2027.

  • Content Vault Partner with XMA to Distribute Universal File Encryption Software

Content Vault Partner with XMA to Distribute Universal File Encryption Software

Content Vault has partnered with XMA as its exclusive UK distribution partner, making it easier for media, AV, and IT organizations to deploy secure content protection across production, post-production, and distribution workflows. The partnership expands access to Content Vault’s device-specific encryption technology, helping studios, broadcasters, and content owners protect sensitive files from unauthorized access while enabling secure collaboration.

Alongside the partnership, Content Vault has upgraded its platform to support end-to-end encryption for all file types, including ZIP archives. By binding encrypted files to authorized devices, the platform ensures valuable intellectual property remains protected throughout the content lifecycle, addressing the growing need for stronger security across modern media production and distribution environments.

Content Vault, the patent-pending secure content distribution platform protecting high-value media from disclosures, theft and unauthorised access, today announced a new strategic partnership with IT solutions provider XMA, as its exclusive UK distribution partner, alongside a major platform update that expands encryption capabilities across all file types.

Through this partnership, XMA will support the rollout of Content Vault across the UK market, enabling organisations to securely protect sensitive assets across production, post-production and distribution workflows.

“XMA is proud to partner with Content Vault to bring market-leading, device-specific encryption to our UK clients,” said Darren Howe, Strategy, Commercial Development & ESG Director at XMA. “This collaboration enables customers to protect their most valuable and sensitive creative and commercial assets and enables secure collaboration throughout the production, post-production and distribution chain.”

In parallel, Content Vault has introduced a significant platform enhancement that extends end-to-end encryption to all file types, including compressed formats such as ZIP files. This update enables users to securely share, store, and distribute any intellectual property from individual assets to complex project bundles, with the same industry-leading protection Content Vault is renowned for.

The latest update reinforces Content Vault’s core approach by applying device-specific encryption so files are bound to the intended device, ensuring that files remain secure and inaccessible without the designated device and credentials, even if a file is shared beyond authorised recipients.

Chris Parsons, Managing Director of Content Vault, said, “During the recent ¡AU! Journal’s IP & Content Defence Summit, I underlined the simple truth that protecting creative IP requires solutions that are both robust and practical. Our partnership with XMA, together with our recent platform update, puts that principle into action. By extending device‑bound, end‑to‑end encryption to every file type we are making it easier for studios, post houses and distributors to collaborate efficiently while maintaining control over sensitive assets. This is about giving rights holders confidence that their work remains theirs, wherever it travels.”

This announcement comes as demand for secure content workflows continues to grow across the media and entertainment sector, with increasing regulatory and commercial pressure to safeguard intellectual property throughout global production pipelines. Content Vault’s latest update directly addresses these challenges by embedding encryption at every stage of the production lifecycle.

  • Broadcast Solutions acquires BFE, expanding its lead in European broadcast, media and communications infrastructure

Broadcast Solutions acquires BFE, expanding its lead in European broadcast, media and communications infrastructure

Broadcast Solutions has acquired BFE Studio und Medien Systeme GmbH, expanding its capabilities as one of Europe’s leading providers of broadcast, media, and communications infrastructure. The acquisition brings together Broadcast Solutions’ expertise in system integration, IP production, cloud technologies, and outside broadcast vehicles with BFE’s strengths in studio technology, media IT, control rooms, workflow integration, and custom hardware and software development. BFE will continue operating under its established brand and leadership, ensuring customers experience no disruption to existing projects or support.

The combined company is positioned to help broadcasters and media organizations manage increasingly complex production environments driven by IP, cloud, automation, and AI. By expanding engineering resources and technology expertise, Broadcast Solutions aims to deliver end-to-end solutions, from consulting and system design to implementation and long-term support, while strengthening its role as a trusted technology partner for broadcast, AV, and IT professionals across Europe and beyond.

Broadcast Solutions GmbH, a leading systems integrator and provider of innovative solutions for the broadcast media industry, is acquiring BFE Studio und Medien Systeme GmbH. This transaction strengthens Broadcast Solutions’ position as one of Europe’s leading providers of broadcast, media and communications systems, and is specifically expanding its service portfolio to include in-depth expertise in the areas of studio and production technology, media IT, control centre and control room systems, and customised hardware and software development.

As an independent company and an established brand with offices in Mainz and Vienna, BFE will become part of the Broadcast Solutions Group. The existing shareholders, Martin Dempf and Sven Hesselbach, will continue to jointly manage the company as managing directors. Peter Dinkel and Doris Hartl will continue to lead BFE in Vienna as managing directors. Customers and partners will not experience any changes to their points of contact, ongoing projects or services. They can continue to rely on the same level of reliability and continuity as before.

“With the acquisition of BFE, we are consistently pursuing our strategic growth course. In recent years, there has been only minimal overlap between the two companies’ service portfolios, but today they complement each other perfectly in technological terms. Together, we are creating the conditions to support our clients even more comprehensively in the future with the planning, implementation and further development of sophisticated broadcast, media and communications infrastructures,” explains Stefan Breder, Co-CEO of Broadcast Solutions.

The demands placed on technical infrastructure in the media industry are undergoing a fundamental shift. IP-based production platforms, cloud technologies, automation and artificial intelligence are increasing the level of integration in modern systems as well as the complexity of projects. There is a need for technology partners who can cover all phases of a project – from consultancy and development through to system integration, implementation and continuing support – under one roof.

This is precisely where this acquisition comes in. Broadcast Solutions and BFE have complementary areas of expertise. The merger creates an integrated offering that uniquely combines system integration, engineering expertise, vertical integration and long-term service. This enables both companies to expand their ability to provide holistic support to clients in the planning, implementation and further development of complex technology infrastructures.

As one of Europe’s leading system integrators, Broadcast Solutions will bring its extensive experience in the planning and implementing of complex broadcast infrastructures to the partnership. The company is a global leader in the development and construction of outside broadcast (OB) vans and in the manufacture of specialised vehicles. Furthermore, it possesses extensive expertise in IP-based production environments, cloud architectures and large-scale international projects.

BFE complements this portfolio with its many years of experience in the development and implementation of bespoke studio, production and media solutions. It also possesses particular expertise in the areas of media IT, workflow integration, control centre and control room systems, and the development of customised hardware and software solutions.

Going forward, customers will benefit from a significantly expanded portfolio of technologies and solutions, additional engineering and development capacities, and greater implementation capabilities for complex national and international projects. At the same time, the tried-and-tested structures, technological specialisations and close customer support of both companies will be retained.

“Broadcast Solutions is the right partner for BFE to continue our development in the long term. Being part of an internationally successful group of companies opens up additional technological and international opportunities for us. At the same time, our brand, our corporate culture and our close relationship with our customers will remain intact,” says Martin Dempf, Managing Director of BFE Studio und Medien Systeme GmbH.

With this acquisition, Broadcast Solutions is making a targeted investment in expanding its technological expertise and engineering capabilities. Together, the two companies will further develop their innovative strength, particularly in the areas of IP, cloud, software development, automation and AI-supported production workflows. The aim is to play an active role in shaping the digital transformation of the media industry and to support customers in the long term as a high-performing European technology partner.

“As customer needs and decision‑making processes continue to evolve, we saw an oppurtunity to rethink how we engage,” said Nick Screen, VP & GM, HARMAN Professional Solutions, APAC. “Our new experience center immerses customers and partners in real-world scenarios—where they can touch, test, and co-create solutions tailored to their environments. It’s all about empowering more informed decisions with confidence. Bringing together JBL, FLUX:: and Martin in this space lets us showcase fully integrated, immersive experiences that truly demonstrate what our Professional Solutions portfolio can achieve.”

    From Products to Business Outcomes

The revamped showroom brings together industry specific use cases, hands-on demonstrations and collaborative spaces that reflect how customers evaluate solutions today. Designed to support engagment from early discovery through validation and implementation, the Experience Center enables deeper, more meaningful experiences beyond traditional product displays.

    Visitors can experience:

    • End-to-end solution scenarios across key industries
    • Interactive demonstrations aligned with real business challenges
    • Immersive, experiential showcase of audio and lighting technologies
    • Dedicated spaces for customer workshops and partner co-creation
    • Executive briefing areas for strategic discussions

“Experience led engagement has become essential in modern B2B environments,” said Atul Ghaisas, Director Channel Sales & Install Solutions, HARMAN Professional Solutions, APAC. “The Singapore Experience Center—along with our global network of HARMAN Professional Experience Centers—helps customers move beyond specifications to truly understand value, outcomes, and scalability, while strengthening collaboration across our global ecosystem.”

    Built for Collaboration and Partnership

The Experience Center also plays a key role in partner engagement, providing a shared platform for joint solution design and integrated demonstrations. By bringing together customers, partners, and subject-matter experts in one space, HARMAN Professional aims to accelerate innovation and deliver more tailored business outcomes.

The opening ceremony welcomed customers, partners, media, and senior leadership and included guided tours highlighting how the Experience Center supports real-world decision-making and collaboration.

    A Platform for Ongoing Engagement

Located at 108 Pasir Panjang Road, #02-08 Golden Agri Building Singapore 118535, the HARMAN Experience Center will host customer briefings, partner sessions and industry‑focused workshops throughout the year.

“This is a long‑term investment, not just a one-time launch” added Nick Screen. “We see this Experience Center as a living environment where ideas are tested, partnerships are strengthened and future‑ready solutions are shaped together with our customers.”
