For ten years, SCN has looked through the AV industry to find and induct the most influential people into their Hall of Fame. We’ve taken the time to sit down with each of them to discuss their journey through the industry and what AV means to them.
Christine Schyvinck started at Shure in 1989 as a quality control engineer due her love of music. By 1997 she started in various leadership positions in the company and was promoted to VP of Operations in 2000. She continued to flourish and grow Shure’s dedication to fantastic solutions. After becoming the Chieft Operating Officer in 2015, Schyvinck was appointed s the Fourth CEO in 2016. She is one of the few women in the pro AV space to hold such a high level position. We discuss this journey with Shure, and the changes being made within this industry.
