Former competitors partner to bring consumer-like experiences to workplaces

This partnership benefits clients of both companies: bringing the Teem Workplace Experience Platform’s consumer-like user interfaces to Crestron’s robust and trusted hardware ecosystem.

Teem meeting room booking software will be preinstalled on Crestron audio-visual hardware solutions seamlessly connecting people to places and technology leading to a more efficient and productive workplace. Going beyond meeting room management, Teem is integrating with Crestron connected motion sensors. The integration will allow customers to automate room check-in, occupancy-based booking, huddle space occupancy detection, and more.

The Teem announcement comes hot on the heels of recent strategic product integrations, including a partnership with Alexa for Business, which Amazon CTO Werner Vogels announced in November 2017, bringing a voice interface into the workplace. Teem also recently announced integrated solutions with Enlighted and Current by GE connected motion sensors.

Teem’s meeting room and collaboration management suite will be available on Crestron’s enterprise AV solutions beginning in late April 2018.
