Raising money for AQAV scholarships
Thursday, May 10 AQAV will be holding a fundraiser for scholarships to their classes. The event will take place from 5 – 7 at the Crestron Showroom in New York; 979 3rd Ave #407.
AQAV is an organization dedicated to the education and standardization of the audiovisual industry. They created the AV9000 standard, an ISO 9000 accredited standard.
“Imagine seeing Paul McCartney in Red Square bringing tens of thousands of people cheering as one, swept up with emotion and waving their arms in the air, chanting to “Hey, Jude”. It is inspiring and uplifting, but it’s hard to imagine the event without the LED displays and the full range sound system. The role of AV has nobility we should recognize and cherish along with an appreciation of the music” says director Mario Maltese.
The proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to create four (4) full scholarships to an AQAV course of the winner’s choice. Raffle tickets are available for sale on our website and at the event.
