Booth 2190 – Tier PM is known as a workforce solution for the Pro AV industry. Mark Winner tells AV Nation’s Tim Algright that it’s important to understand not only the technical competencies required for a job, but also the culture and how the client company likes to work. Tier PM starts with their own internal interview and rating process to accurately assess skill set. Winner says that Tier PM is drilling down even deeper in their skills assessment process.
Integrators should start by having a conversation with Tier PM staff to determine what the needs are, the process, and how Tier PM will present candidates. In general, Tier submits 3 candidates out of their database of over 50K professionals for their client to interview. They also provide screening services. Candidates should reach out to Tier PM to get advice about the industry climate.
Tier PM is launching a new initiative to help companies understand their data and put together a snapshot of how they are doing as a company. Sales dashboards, inventory, clients, industries, etc. all come into play with the new analytics tools.

AVNation is a collective of audiovisual professionals. Our hosts, panelists, writers, and producers all work in the AV industry in some capacity. That gives us a unique perspective on the industry and allows us to ask questions end users, technology managers, IT managers, and AV integrators would ask. Our coverage of InfoComm 2019 comes from these points of view. Everything we are able to do is made possible by our supporters who provide the financial support for AVNation. We are always looking for new voices. If you want to have your point of view heard contact us by clicking here. Let us know who you are and what you have to say.
