Distributing Video Over IP Through Atlona’s OmniStream at CEDIA Expo 2019

Video Where You Want It

For coverage of CEDIA Expo 2019, Matt Scott talks to Sales Engineering Manager for Atlona Seth Powell in their booth about their AV Over IP streaming solution OmniStream.

OmniStream is a scalable AV distribution platform for both residential spaces like the home and commercial establishments like restaraunts and meeting rooms. Through the web-based interface, customers can configure network routing to send signals where they need to go. Even as an AV over IP solution, latency is under a millisecond to the point games can be played over the network with no issues.

Atlona has provided singal distribution solutions for the AV industry since 2003. They design innovative products for a diverse range of global commercial and residential markets. Atlona’s OmniStream R-Type Dual-Channel Networked AV Encoder was a finalist in CEDIA’s 2018 awards for Best New Hardware Product. In January of 2019, global leader of network infrastructure solutions Paduit Corp. announced they had acquired Atlona.

More information about Atlona and their products can be found at their website.
