Automated shades have taken off within the custom installation and residential channels in the last few years. Hunter Douglas offers multiple solutions on window coverings and treatments from roller shades to blackout shades to dealers and customers alike. They are opening a specific portal for the CI channel to dealers.
Founded in 1919, Hunter Douglas is a globally leading manufacturer of window coverings and other architectural solutions. The first remotely controlled shading system, Privacy Sheers and PoweRise were launched in 1996. Since then, they have been the market leader for automated window shades.
