Staring Down The Wall From Samsung At CEDIA Expo 2019

One Sixth Of The Veldt

For our coverage of CEDIA Expo 2019 Matt Scott talks to Samsung executive Mark Quiroz in front of their enormous QLED display they call “The Wall”.

However, this is not your regular (as regular as such a huge display can get) Samsung Wall display. It is the Lux (luxury) version of the wall. Whereas the Pro version of The Wall is designed towards corporate offices and lobbies, the Lux Wall emphasizes usability and ease of access for consumers akin to using a television. We discuss the applications within a residential environment.

Samsung is no stranger to the trade show circuit, bringing the The Wall to both Integrated Systems Europe 2019 in February and InfoComm 2019 in June. Samsung Electronics was established in 1969 as a part of the Samsung Group. By 2004, they had become the larget global manufacturer of OLEDs for use in their displays and smartphones.

For more information about Samsung and their displays can be found on their website.
