AV distributor syscomtec to showcase international manufacturers in Digital Signage Pavilion at ISE 2020

The distributor will focus on wireless presentation systems, digital signage displays, AVoIP solutions, multiviewers, and USB extenders

syscomtec Distribution AG will present a wide range of innovative AV technologies during Integrated Systems Europe (ISE). On booth E120 in Hall 8 syscomtec is showcasing the latest products and solutions from leading manufacturers such as Bluefin, BrightSign, CYP Europe, easescreen, Icron Technologies, NETGEAR, Nexmosphere, NorthVision, ProDVX, and RGB Spectrum.

Wireless HDMI presentation systems

NorthVision: The wireless plug & play presentation system (VisionShare) consists of a receiver with HDMI output and two transmitters (HDMI or USB-C). They transmit HDMI images and sound signals latency-free in resolutions up to 4K UHD with excellent video quality and no latency. The transmission frequency of 60 GHz offers high bandwidth with excellent quality of service at ranges of up to 10 meters, without signals passing through room walls. Simultaneous transmission to two displays is also possible. The 360° mirroring option can be used with OS, Android and Windows. Fullscreen or 4-split display can be shown in this mode. HDCP and DTCP content protection also offer the highest standard.

Digital Signage – displays and media players

Bluefin/AVNU and ProDVX: Further highlights at the booth are the displays of Bluefin/AVNU with integrated BrightSign media player and the high-quality Android or Windows touch displays from ProDVX. The “Digital Signage Displays” from ProDVX are equipped with ARM Cortex-A17 or Quad-Core processors. They all have RJ45 LAN, USB, and Micro-USB connections and an eMMC flash memory and they support WLAN, Bluetooth, and Power over Ethernet. The 7 to 32-inch screens are offered with metal or plastic housings or in an open frame version. All models feature fanless cooling and are designed for 24/7 operation.

Nexmosphere: New in the syscomtec portfolio is a sensor solution for the retail sector providing an interactive and intuitive shopping experience. Digital Signage players, Bluefin displays and easescreen Windows PCs can be integrated via a USB interface. One single Xperience USB controller, which is compatible with Linux, Windows and Android, takes control. The follwing sensors are available: Lift & Learn, Place & Learn, X-Snappers, touch and push buttons and RFID antennas. Also animated X-wave LED strips fit to the USB interface. Through the flexible integration of light, touch, video, audio, multiple pick-up and presence sensors, Nexmosphere can offer customized and tailored solutions.

BrigtSign: syscomtec is presenting the powerful Digital Signage media player “BrightSign XT1144”, a 4K and Full HD player with 4K upscaling and dual decoders that allows simultaneous playback of native 4K, HD and live TV content. It has PoE, syscomtec shows other BrightSign models such as the XD1034, HD1024, LS424 and HO523 on their booth.

AV over IP

CYP Europe: The “SDV-CTRX” transmits 4K HDR (6G) signals over a 10G IP cat or fiber-optic network without latency. Every transceiver can be flexibly configured so that it can be used as a transmitter or a receiver. The lossless compression algorithm transmits and distributes 4K HDR video (HDMI or DisplayPort) and data signals. Additional HDMI content such as HDR (High Dynamic Range), 10-bit color depth and multi-channel HD bitstream audio can be transmitted in pass-through mode. In addition to audio and video, multiple control and data signals can be processed, including IR, RS-232, USB (for KVM) and Ethernet.

Multiple transceivers with an 10 Gigabit Ethernet switch can be used to form a distributed video matrix, multi-viewer system or a video wall system. Together with control hardware, the SDV-CTRX is ideal for large installations. The integrated EDID and HDCP management offer additional flexibility. The unit can be configured via on-screen display (OSD) or optional control software.

DVI Gear: “DisplayNet” uses the proven SDVoE 10GbE Ethernet technology to switch, extend and distribute uncompressed AV signals in real-time with resolutions up to 4K (UHD). DisplayNet offers excellent image quality with no latency, compression, and no interference. The systems consist of multiple transmitter and receiver endpoints, a 10GbE network switch and a DisplayNet Server® that provides interfaces for controlling and managing the entire system. A DisplayNet API pre-installed on the server supports the web-based software application DisplayNet Manager™, providing a wide range of tools such as signal routing, configuration of video walls, and MultiViewer layout creation, EDID management or preset storage.

NETGEAR: With the models, M4500-32C and M4500-48XF8C – NETGEAR recently introduced a new generation of managed switches. The “M4500 switches” use the IGMP technology, removing the need for complicated Layer-3 PIM routing and greatly simplifies system architectures across the entire AV over IP network. The switches combine the configurability of a matrix switch with the power and scalability of Ethernet to support hundreds of AV over IP endpoints.

Signal Management

RGB Spectrum: The new “Multiviewer QuadView®UHDx” displays up to four sources on a single screen. This feature-rich device delivers superior image quality with a resolution up to 4K@60Hz and customizable display windows. The QuadView UHDx provides internal switching of up to six input signals, of which four can be displayed simultaneously. Input resolutions can be mixed and matched, and all video inputs can be scaled to full-screen mode and routed to each window. The QuadView UHDx provides analog and digital audio and allows audio to be selected and routed from any source. The unit also supports HDCP 2.2 and 1.4.

USB transmission technology

Icron Technologies: syscomtec presents the “USB 3-2-1 Raven 3104” from Icron Technologies, the world’s first and so far only USB 3.1 extender with the ExtremeUSB-C™ technology. It transmits USB 3.1 Gen 1 (5 Gbit/s), 2.0 and 1.1 signals in parallel up to 100 meters over just one CAT 6a/7 cable. The backward compatible 4-port USB 3.1 extender offers true plug-and-play functionality, supports data rates up to 5 Gbps and works with all major operating systems. It is ideal for conference room solutions such as conference cameras, interactive whiteboards, touchscreens, hard drives, video converters or audio devices. The Raven 3104 also has an Ethernet port for connection with network-compatible devices or for use in networks (Windows, MacOS, and Linux). Making this suitable for remote storage, security, monitoring, and video matrix systems.
