Design Electronics reveals senior executive appointments

These key leadership members will make the company more customer-centric and as efficient as possible

Design Electronics, a global technology integrator headquartered in Ontario, Canada, has announced several key senior personnel appointments, effective January 2020. This key leadership team will make the company more customer-centric and as efficient as possible to deliver value to the customer, while supporting continued expansion and growth. The company specializes in complex and challenging installations in the enterprise, entertainment, gaming, command and control, and residential markets, so a strong leadership team that models exceptional customer service is essential.

“Each of these individuals has proven over years of service that they are committed to maintaining long-term excellence and the innovative and responsive culture our company is known for,” commented CEO Khalil Williams. “As we focus more on our mentorship program, expanding our global footprint, and delivering exceptional results on increasingly complex projects, these key leaders will guide our team.”

Glenn Amell (pictured above) has been named COO, and will focus on maintaining exceptional operations execution within the company, across all divisions. With management experience in both the commercial and residential sectors, he will lead daily operations, focus on long term goal realization, system design and engineering governance, and creating efficient processes. Amell has performed numerous roles within the company over a total of 15 years, most recently as Systems Design Manager.

Felice Taddeo, with the company for over 20 years, has been named CTO, and will be responsible for technical development, commissioning and support. Taddeo will also lead the Design Electronics Mentorship Program, honing in on how the company develops the next generation within the organization, and guiding the professional development of future world class system integrators. Taddeo is known internally as being especially skilled at sophisticated programming and having exceptional rapport with clients on-site. He’ll be developing specialized teams within Design Electronics who can duplicate these successes on a large scale.

Chantelle Blayney, PMP will be the Program Manager, focused on key project delivery and governance. She will focus on the specifics of project management, standardized delivery, streamlining processes, and the strategic direction of the Project Management Office. Blayney has been with the company four and half years as Senior Project Manager, and possesses extensive global touring experience.
