Listen Technologies’ Sam Nord is in AVNation’s ISE Studio to discuss their mobile collaboration system, ListenTALK.
Designed to encourage conversation during guided tours, even in noisy environments, ListenTALK is getting an upgrade with two additional features: a third talk path to promote more natural conversation and simultaneous language translation.
Nord also showcases ListenEVERYWHERE, the company’s app-based system that can be used for hearing augmentation (assistive listening) and language interpretation.
“As a product, what people are buying is essentially our servers, which comes in multiple configurations, and, depending on how many audio sources you are using, will determine which product you will use,” Nord explains. “We have a solution to fit any category.”
Nord also discusses the importance of the company’s recent acquisition of the Canadian company, AudioConexus, which will bring tour operators into the mix by giving them solutions for delivering great stories and experiences.
