The company has issued a call to the AV industry to help get word to the right healthcare channels who need them most
AtlasIED has halted some of its production at its Ennis, TX, facility to produce free face shields (“WINshields”) for healthcare workers and front liners. The company has issued a call out to the AV industry to find the right channels to distribute the face shields to hospitals and healthcare facilities, with AtlasIED offering to ship directly to these outlets.
“We are grateful for all the first responders and front line workers who are fighting daily to save lives, and support our country’s recovery,” said Gina Sansivero, AtlasIED’s vice president of marketing and corporate communications. “AtlasIED will be providing “WINshields” to front line workers who need them, cost-free. We are working hard to keep these in stock and to ship them to as many locations as needed, so please request only what you require at this time. We will try hard to honor your request (healthcare facilities will get priority) and we will continue to make them, in our Ennis, TX facility, as long as there is a demand.”
In its first production run, AtlasIED is producing 13,000 face shields and will make more if required. Currently, the company has a form on the front page of its website — click on FACE SHIELD REQUEST — to gather shipping information.
