Bose expands VideobarTM VB1 All-in-One USB Conferencing device availability through HP collaboration

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — Ensuring optimal availability of its highly anticipated Bose VideobarTM VB1 all-in-one USB conferencing device, Bose Professional has announced its availability through its collaboration with HP. While the new era of hybrid work means people are in the office and remote, everyone is doing business on more videocalls than ever before. Certified for Microsoft Teams, the Videobar VB1 provides customers the highest-quality audio and video experience plus compatibility required for today’s meetings.

The Videobar VB1 can be combined with the HP Elite Slice G2 – Audio Ready for Microsoft Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms to provide the management and functionality needed within a variety of spaces. The collaboration between a world leader in audio and a leader of computing devices ensures that people can meet and successfully collaborate, while the technology remains transparent.

For a premium audio experience, the Bose Videobar VB1 uses six beam-steering microphones that actively focus on voices in the room and reject noise. The Bose-proprietary transducers reproduce accurate, room-filling audio from multimedia presentations, play Bluetooth® audio and ensure voices sound natural and clear. The 4K ultra-HD camera with autoframing delivers crystal-clear video, so remote participants can see presenters, whiteboards and other in-room objects. Its single-cable USB connectivity means there’s no need for separate audio and video cables at the table, reducing clutter, and it can be mounted to suit the space using the included table stand or wall-mount kit.

Designed for rooms of all sizes, the HP Elite Slice G2 – Audio Ready allows for easy, flexible setup, configuration and operation with its large anti-glare screen and one-touch capacitive controls for simple, stress-free meetings. The HP Elite Slice G2 – Audio Ready also features on-demand calling, dual viewing angles and flexible accessibility. Easily add attendees and share content with one touch on the controller with its intuitive, easy-to-use interface.

“The excitement of the Videobar VB1 shipping is increased by our collaboration with HP,” stated Martin Bodley, director and global head for Bose Work at Bose. “HP is a well-known industry leader that excels at providing computing and collaboration solutions that complement the VB1’s capabilities. This collaboration adds a full array of product capabilities in one simple package.”

For rooms requiring additional mic pickup, Bose provides two in-ceiling audio solutions to choose from. The Bose ES1 system features the Bose EdgeMax EM180 in-ceiling loudspeaker, while the more conventional Bose DS4 system features four DesignMax DM2C-LP loudspeakers. Each solution is combined with a Sennheiser TeamConnect Ceiling 2 microphone, Bose ControlSpace EX-440C processor and a PowerSpace P2600A amplifier. Regardless of the room size or configuration, IT managers can be confident the technology in their meeting spaces is truly integrated.
