Listen Technologies Partners with Pro Audio Channel to Bring Listen NAVILUTION to Tour Operators and Transportation Providers

BLUFFDALE, Utah Listen Technologies Corporation, the leading provider of advanced wireless listening solutions for 23 years, is partnering with professional audio integrators and manufacturer representative firms to bring the Listen NAVILUTION product suite to tour and transportation companies. Listen NAVILUTION is a GPS-triggered commentary system that delivers prerecorded audio stories and information.

As more people become vaccinated against COVID-19 and restrictions ease, travel is expected to increase. A recent Vrbo survey reveals 65% of Americans plan to travel more in 2021 than they did before COVID. According to TripAdvisor, internet searches for experiences, such as tours and attractions, have risen 78% compared to the first week of January 2021. As people return to travel for work and leisure, Listen NAVILUTION helps tour and transportation providers differentiate themselves and deliver engaging and useful content for passengers.

“Listen Technologies’ channel partners are committed to finding solutions to meet the unique communication needs of their customers and end-users and in delivering a superior audio experience across applications,” said Jonathan Stanley, chief experience officer, Listen Technologies. “The Listen NAVILUTION suite of solutions will enhance and differentiate our channel partners’ portfolio of offerings and help them enter new markets. That’s good for their businesses and for the customers they serve.”

Automated Message Delivery

Listen NAVILUTION uses GPS technology to trigger prerecorded audio to play as the vehicle or vessel travels through the trigger zone without requiring internet connectivity while en route. Easy-to-use software lets operators plan routes and set the trigger zones for a customized experience. The audio content can be as simple as an instructional message or as extensive as professionally produced cinematic experiences. Operators can choose to deliver the audio in one language or offer multiple languages to include non-native speakers in their experience. Passengers can hear the content in one of three ways:

  • Listen NAVILUTION Seatback +: Passengers listen through a headset plugged into a hardwired seatback controller.
  • Listen NAVILUTION PA Delivery: Audio is GPS-triggered and played over the vehicle’s public address system and passengers hear it through the vehicle’s speakers.
  • Listen NAVILUTION BYOD +: Audio is streamed to passengers’ personal iOS and Android devices.

“We are excited to help our reseller partners expand their portfolio of Listen Technologies solutions and offer tour and transportation providers flexible, safe, easy to use audio systems that will take their business to the next level,” said Sam Nord, vice president of global sales, Listen Technologies. “This is an exciting time as travel and tours resume. People are hungry for shared experiences and want to learn and be entertained. Listen NAVILUTION delivers engaging experiences passengers will remember.”

Listen Technologies channel partners who would like to learn more about Listen NAVILUTION are invited to attend one of two informational webinars that will be held June 28 and June 29. Please visit this link to register for a webinar.
