Platinum Tools® Features New NetXpert XG2 10G Network Tester During InfoComm 2021

Platinum Tools will showcase the recently launched NetXpert XG2 10G Network Tester at this year’s InfoComm, held in Orlando, FL. The XG2 provides 10G speed certification over copper and fiber as well as network testing over copper, fiber, and Wi-Fi systems.

Platinum Tools product manager Sean Rothermel says the NetXpert sets a new standard in cable testing. “With Cat6A rapidly gaining dominance, a tester capable of certifying networks to 10G speeds has become more of a necessity. With the NetXpert XG2, we have a single device that performs 10G speed certification, as well as all the network tests you need on copper, fiber, and Wi-Fi systems, even PoE testing up to the PoE type 4 standard. This eliminates the need to buy or carry multiple testers for various jobs,” Rothermel said.

XG2 offers future upgradeability, allowing new firmware to be loaded by end-users via USB or WiFi. Rothermel thinks this feature makes the XG2 a valuable product to own.“Upgrading new firmware will allow the XG2 to be used for years while keeping up with current technological necessities.”

The NetXpert XG2 boasts even more standout features. Each XG2 comes engineered with a full-color 7” touchscreen and a rechargeable lithium battery pack. You can check out more features on their website or at InfoComm in Orlando on October 27-29.
