Extron and Somfy Partner to Integrate AV and Environmental Controls

Extron has announced its collaboration with Somfy, combing Extron’s control capabilities with Somfy’s powered products for smart building projects. The new partnership gives facility managers and AV professionals a simple installation and setup.

The integration of Somfy powered products and Extron control panels allows end-users to access more smart features. Somfy powered products can work in concert with an occupancy sensor, providing touch-free automatic control. The automation can raise the shades and projection screen when a room is no longer in use or can lower the appropriate shades in preparation for a presentation based on lighting levels.
