PPDS has named Vince Schuster as its new Commercial Vice President of Professional Displays North America. The AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist brings more than 25 years of industry knowledge to the company. Schuster is tasked with overseeing the day-to-day management of the business, including extending awareness of the PPDS brand and the benefits the business provides.
“I am thrilled to welcome Vince to the PPDS team. Vince is a natural leader, and his knowledge and experience of the AV industry are second to none. North America is an important and growing market for PPDS and we see some incredible opportunities ahead with our ever-evolving portfolio of display solutions. Vince was the standout choice to support our ambitions and to take this company to the next level in North America and achieve its potential,” said Chris Colpaert, PPDS General Manager.
Fueling its ambition to bring additional value and choice to customers, while making the buying and installation process of solutions more simplified and aligned, the business has also recently undergone a full company rebrand and executed a brand new ‘Total Solutions’ global strategy. Moving beyond just displays, the new rebrand helps form a series of strategic partnerships with a growing number of leading hardware and software providers, including Crestron, Advantech, Bosch, Intel, i3 Technologies.
“I’ve worked in this industry for more than 25 years, and I can candidly say I have never been more excited nor enthusiastic about the opportunities that lay ahead with PPDS,” Schuster said. “Philips has always been a brand that leads from the front and is a company synonymous with quality, innovation, and an eye on the future – three invaluable pillars. PPDS’ portfolio is making some big waves in North America and forcing other, arguably more established competitors, to rethink the way they do business.”
