Shure is offering a preview of their new Wireless Workbench 7 (WWB7) software at NAMM and NAB 2023. Wireless Workbench is Shure’s free software for audio professionals that puts a full suite of RF spectrum management tools in one place, providing the full command of compatible wireless devices.
New with WWB7:
· WWB Scan Library
o View recently uploaded RF scans before your upcoming productions by accessing the integrated scan library portal – WWB Scan Library. Users can upload and download past scans with the portal to facilitate frequency coordination for their gear before going onsite.
· App UI Refresh / WWB Dark Mode
o WWB Dark Mode helps users avoid bright shining screen lights during live performances.
· Improved High-Density Mode Support
o Those using Axient Digital and ULX-D in HD mode for maximum spectrum efficiency can now generate a set of evenly spaced, compatible frequencies by right-clicking on the device profile header.
· Updated Reports
o Wireless Workbench now provides more ways to customize reports to ensure you only view the information you need.
WWB7 will be fully available for download later this year. Attendees at NAMM and NAB 2023 can experience WWB7 at the Shure booth through the duration of both shows.
Shure Wireless Workbench 7 (WWB7) can be previewed at NAMM 2023, booth #15508, and NAB 2023, booth #C6920.
