Atlona, a Panduit company, is a manufacturer of AV distribution, collaboration, and control solutions, focusing on quality, user experience, simplicity, and management.
Atlona, a Panduit company, has appointed Mathias Müglich as a Training Engineer, reporting to Kobi Levy, Director of Technical Services, EMEA.
Mathias Müglich, a 22-year-old installer and 11-year Technology Training Manager at Extron Electronics, has been appointed as a Training Engineer at Panduit’s Atlona. His expertise in OmniStream AV over IP and Velocity AV control systems aligns with Atlona’s goal of providing in-person training to customers, enhancing their EMEA technical services team and customer relationships.
Atlona, a Panduit company, has expanded its EMEA team with the addition of Mathias Müglich as Training Engineer, effective immediately. Based at Atlona’s new EMEA Training Center, in Schwalbach, Germany, he reports directly to Kobi Levy, Director of Technical Services, EMEA.
A seasoned AV technology specialist, Mathias is primarily focused on providing in-person, hands-on training to Atlona customers including systems integrators, consultants, and end users. Mathias’ training efforts will cover all Atlona product lines, with a special focus on OmniStream AV over IP and Velocity AV control systems. He is also tasked with helping the EMEA staff with pre-sales activities as needed.
Mathias comes to Atlona from Extron Electronics where he served as Technology Training Manager for 11 years. He is most excited about Atlona’s strong emphasis on in-person trainings.
“The pandemic shifted all training courses to online, and a large number of vendor training initiatives remain that way today,” said Müglich. “I missed the personal contact with trainees, and Atlona’s redesigned training center provides an ideal hands-on learning environment where I can make genuine connections with professionals in the room.”
Mathias first gained valuable AV industry experience as an installer with mevis.tv’s AV division for 22 years. Thorsten Goecke, Business Director, EMEA for Atlona, believes that experience gives Mathias strong credibility with Atlona partners and end users that attend his classes.
“Mathias is a very valuable and effective addition to our EMEA technical services team who will establish stronger relationships with our customers through his depth of integration experience and superior technical knowledge,” said Thorsten Goecke. “He particularly enjoys sitting side-by-side with our customers, teaching them how to use our products and guiding their hands-on training experience. Mathias strives to understand and address their questions and issues so they get the most out of their Atlona’s AV/IT solutions.”
