Extron has released the IPL EXP PDU8L, a control system power expansion interface that manages centralized 12V DC power, monitors power consumption, and senses temperature. It provides 60 watts across eight individually controllable outputs, is Ethernet enabled, and features a temperature port with a thermistor probe for tracking ambient temperature conditions. It can be used with an IPCP Pro xi Series control processor for secure power control or operate independently using a secure Extron API.
The IPL EXP PDU8L offers enhanced power management capabilities for audiovisual systems, providing flexibility for system designs by offering centralized power control and monitoring. It can be integrated seamlessly into existing setups and offers secure encrypted control, meeting the evolving needs of customers for efficient and reliable power management solutions.

This control system power expansion interface provides centralized 12V DC power management, monitoring, and temperature sensing. It delivers 60 watts across eight individually controllable outputs. The IPL EXP PDU8L is Ethernet enabled and features the ability to monitor power consumption while providing a temperature port and thermistor probe for tracking temperature conditions of any ambient air space or device. It is designed to be used with an IPCP Pro xi Series control processor for secure, encrypted power control of attached devices. It can also operate independently using a secure Extron API, enabling seamless integration for specialized applications or direct control via the built-in web page.
