AtlasIED’s new Dante-enabled DSPs are designed to meet industry demands for higher reliability, flexibility, and ease of use in audio systems. By incorporating the Brooklyn 3 Dante audio processing module, these products enhance the operational and performance standards of the Atmosphere platform. They aim to provide maximum interoperability and scalability, making them suitable for a variety of applications, including large meeting rooms and flexible spaces like banquet halls. This launch underscores AtlasIED’s commitment to evolving their product offerings based on user feedback and technological advancements in the audio industry.

AtlasIED, a leading global electronics manufacturer of audio, mass communications, and sound masking solutions, is introducing several new Dante-enabled products as part of AtlasIED’s Atmosphere™ audio processing and control platform. The company will showcase the new line of products at InfoComm 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada, from June 12 to 14.

Developed and designed based on industry feedback and in keeping with the promise of platform evolution made at Atmosphere’s launch in 2020, these Dante-enabled DSPs revolutionize the award-winning product family and expand the platform’s capabilities:

  • AZMP8-DW: Atmosphere 8-zone Dante-enabled signal processor with an integrated 1200-watt amplifier in an all-in-one wall mount cabinet,
  • AZMP8-D: Atmosphere 8-zone Dante-enabled signal processor with an integrated 1200-watt amplifier,
  • AZM8-D: Atmosphere 8-zone Dante-enabled signal processor,
  • AZMP4-D: Atmosphere 4-zone Dante-enabled signal processor with an integrated 600-watt amplifier, and
  • AZM4-D: Atmosphere 4-zone Dante-enabled signal processor.

Based on the Brooklyn 3 Dante audio processing module, the new Dante-enabled DSPs offer 16 x 16 channels of Dante digital audio. Users can create sources and zones using Dante network I/O, and any input — analog or Atmosphere accessory — can be distributed via Dante for maximum flexibility. All Dante settings can be configured and monitored through the Atmosphere GUI.

“Dante and the AtlasIED Atmosphere platform have a shared mission of providing the utmost level of reliability and flexibility to its users,” said Joshua Rush, Chief Marketing Officer at Audinate. “Simplifying the process from start to finish for our customers is always at the forefront of our minds. The Dante-enabled Atmosphere products promise this level of ease of use to customers managing a wide variety of applications.”

Engineered with automation, Atmosphere combines digital audio processors, amplifiers, graphical user interfaces, programming software, and controls to set a new operational and performance standard for digital audio systems. The Danted-enabled Atmosphere signal processors will provide enhanced interoperability, scalability, and flexibility to a broad range of applications, including ballrooms and large meeting rooms.

The AZMP8-DW’s all-in-one wall-mount cabinet is unique in the industry and intended for flexible spaces without a centralized AV room, such as banquet halls and divisible rooms in higher education facilities. ADA-compliant, the cabinet can easily be moved around and remounted wherever needed.

“Each Dante-enabled addition to the Atmosphere product line will bring users an enhanced and unmatched level of design freedom that Atmosphere is intended to achieve,” said Tom Lureman, Director of Product Management, AtlasIED. “Dante-enabled signal processors have been highly sought after by the industry, and at InfoComm we will deliver on those needs.”
