Extron Introduces New DisplayPort Fiber Optic Extenders

Extron has added two new DisplayPort fiber optic extenders, the FOX3 T 211 and FOX3 SR 211 to its FOX3 platform. These extenders support long-distance transmission of 4K/60 @ 4:4:4 video, stereo audio, and control signals over a single fiber. With mathematically lossless image quality, they are designed to meet the growing demand for secure, high-performance AV signal distribution.

Built for IT and AV environments, the FOX3 extenders come with user-friendly features like EDID Minder, audio embedding and de-embedding, Ethernet monitoring, and real-time system diagnostics. This makes them an economical, secure, and reliable choice for enterprise-wide AV, workstation, and KVM applications.
