Planar has introduced the new Planar Cobra Series, a next-generation fine pixel pitch LED display solution designed to deliver exceptional image quality, reliability and durability. Available in pixel pitches ranging from 0.6mm to 1.2mm, the series combines Planar’s proprietary EverPixel and TruMicro technologies to provide superior display uniformity, color consistency and off-axis viewing performance for premium indoor environments.
A key highlight of the Cobra Series is its pixel-level redundancy through EverPixel technology, helping maintain image quality and continuous operation even if individual LEDs fail. Combined with TruMicro’s ultra-small MicroLED technology, the new display platform offers enhanced visual precision, long-term reliability and energy efficiency. The series is supported by Planar WallDirector software for streamlined video wall management and was showcased at InfoComm 2026.
Today, Planar global leader in announced a breakthrough addition to the company’s portfolio of industry-leading visualization technologies with the launch of the Planar® Cobra Series. Powered by Planar’s proprietary EverPixel and TruMicro LED technologies, and built upon a proven Planar LED platform, the new state-of-the-art series establishes a new benchmark for fine pixel pitch LED displays.
Available in 0.6, 0.7, 0.9 and 1.2 millimeter pixel pitches, the new Planar Cobra Seriesexceptional display uniformity, outstanding off-axis image quality and industry-leading color consistency. Designed to provide exceptional visual performance, advanced reliability and enhanced durability, the series is well suited for a broad range of premium indoor applications.
At the core of Planar Cobra Series are Planar’s proprietary EverPixel and TruMicro technologies. EverPixel architecture incorporates pixel-level redundancy directly into the display to help maintain image quality and continuous operation, introducing the industry’s first ultra-fine pitch LED display platform with pixel-level redundancy. TruMicro technology utilizes LEDs as small as 20 micrometers (μm) to enable true MicroLED performance, exceptional visual precision and ultra-fine pixel pitches. Together, these innovations deliver a powerful combination of visual performance, reliability and durability.

The new Planar Cobra Series is now available for order through Planar’s global network of authorized resellers and will be unveiled at InfoComm 2026 in Booth #C7258 in Las Vegas June 17-19.
