    Sennheiser has launched DeviceHub, a secure, cloud-based platform that helps IT and AV teams monitor and manage Sennheiser devices from anywhere through a web browser. Currently available as a public beta, DeviceHub starts with support for TeamConnect Bar Solutions and provides real-time monitoring, diagnostics, alerts, and centralized visibility across rooms, buildings, campuses, or global locations. The platform is designed to simplify large-scale device management while improving reliability for meetings, learning, and collaboration spaces.

    Built on Microsoft Azure, DeviceHub focuses strongly on security, using role-based access and modern authentication to ensure teams only see and control what’s relevant to them. With plans to add support for more Sennheiser devices throughout 2026, the platform is designed to scale with organizational needs. Early users report faster onboarding, easier configuration, and greater flexibility compared to previous device management tools.

    Sennheiser today announced the launch of DeviceHub, a secure, cloud-based platform that gives organizations centralized visibility and control of their Sennheiser devices from anywhere in the world. Following extensive internal testing and a private beta phase, DeviceHub is now publicly available in beta, starting with support for TeamConnect Bar Solutions.

    IPMX Achieves Certification Milestone at ISE 2026, Marking Major Step for AV and Broadcast Interoperability

    At Integrated Systems Europe 2026, AVNation’s Tim Albright spoke with Andrew Starks of the AIMS Alliance about a major breakthrough for the AV-over-IP industry: the first official IPMX Certified Interoperability Testing Event and the launch of certified IPMX products.

    Unlike previous plugfests or informal interoperability trials, this event represented a true certification milestone. The testing was hosted by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and conducted under a formal, structured test plan. Products were required to pass the complete certification process to earn IPMX certification.

    The results underscored the maturity of the IPMX ecosystem. Eleven manufacturers achieved certification, representing 58 IPMX-certified products at launch. Because shared implementations can extend certification across product lines, this milestone immediately expands confidence in multi-vendor interoperability using IPMX.

    To support system designers and integrators, the AIMS Alliance also introduced an IPMX product registry and certification badge system. Certified products carry a unique ID and QR code linking directly to registry details, making it easier to verify compliance and interoperability during system design and procurement.

    For long-time observers of IPMX, the conversation marked a shift from development to deployment. With certified products now available, attention turns to real-world installations, where IPMX-certified devices can be sold, installed, and operated together in complete AV and broadcast systems.

    Momentum behind IPMX is further strengthened by its compatibility with SMPTE ST 2110 and AES67, enabling alignment between professional AV and broadcast workflows. This convergence is driving growing interest from enterprise, higher education, live production, and corporate environments where IP-based media infrastructures are rapidly expanding.

    As demand increases for open, standards-based AV-over-IP solutions that work across manufacturers, IPMX is emerging as a key interoperability framework for the future of networked media systems.

In an interview with AVNation.tv, host Tim Albright spoke with Kai Tossing from Sennheiser about how the platform addresses real-world challenges for IT managers and AV integrators.

    Device Hub, now available as a public beta, provides a single, centralized interface for managing Sennheiser devices across organizations of any size.     A key advantage of Device Hub is its scalable architecture. Organizations can begin with a single meeting room and expand to manage hundreds or thousands of devices across cities or continents.     Sennheiser has also emphasized ease of use. Initial setup and quick interactions can be completed directly on the device through a local user interface, while cloud claiming unlocks advanced AV fleet management, notifications, and ongoing monitoring.

    Notably, Device Hub is offered at no cost, reinforcing Sennheiser’s focus on usability and accessibility. “We want to make collaboration and learning easier,” Tossing explained, pointing to simplified configuration, proactive device management, and real-time awareness of system status.

    Visionary, a leading global innovator in the AV-over-IP industry, will showcase the XB5 USB-C Conferencing Bridge along with three high-performance 5 Series Wallplates at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) from February 3–6, 2026.     The XB5 USB-C Conferencing Bridge and 5 Series Wallplates expand Visionary’s AV-over-IP portfolio with additional options for BYOD conferencing, in-wall connectivity and scalable 1GbE networked AV system design. PackeTV further extends Visionary’s portfolio by enabling centralized delivery of live television, video-on-demand and digital signage across enterprise networks without cloud-based licensing dependencies.

    The XB5 USB-C Conferencing Bridge is designed to integrate personal laptops into AV-over-IP environments using a single cable. The device delivers bi-directional 4K60 4:4:4 video, high-quality audio, wired Ethernet and up to 100W of charging through one USB-C connection. The XB5 USB-C Conferencing Bridge integrates natively with Visionary’s 1GbE AV-over-IP ecosystem and supports UVC and UAC protocols for plug-and-play compatibility with Windows, macOS and ChromeOS devices.

    Intended for conference rooms, boardrooms, classrooms and other professional audiovisual spaces, the XB5 USB-C Conference Bridge enables users to connect their laptops directly to room AV systems without the need for software installation or driver configuration. Users gain immediate access to in-room cameras, microphones, speakers and displays while using their preferred soft codec, including Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Webex.

    The XB5 USB-C Conferencing Bridge consolidates USB extension, video switching and audio interfacing into a single compact device. It is compatible with Visionary’s 5 Series endpoints and supports AES67 and Dante audio, including embedding and de-embedding of AEC-processed audio. PoE+ power support and a fanless design simplify installation and improve long-term reliability.

    Additionally, Visionary will introduce three new 5 Series Wallplate models designed for in-wall installations and flexible AV environments.

    The DuetE5-WP-C wallplate encoder combines USB-C and HDMI inputs in a two-gang form factor. It supports AV-over-IP encoding of 4K60 4:4:4 video and USB sources from USB-C or HDMI-equipped devices. The USB-C input supports DisplayPort Alt Mode video, USB-over-IP and AES67 and Dante audio embedding and de-embedding while maintaining compatibility with Visionary’s 5 Series ecosystem.

    The DuetE5-WP-C-BT builds on the DuetE5-WP-C by adding integrated Bluetooth audio. The additional wireless input option allows users to stream audio from mobile devices directly into the AV-over-IP network, supporting hybrid spaces and meeting rooms that require both wired and wireless connectivity.

    Completing the lineup, the DuetD-5-WP is a wallplate decoder featuring an HDMI output and two USB-C ports for full USB-over-IP support. The decoder is designed for in-wall installations where users need to receive high-quality video and interact with USB devices such as cameras, touch panels and HID peripherals in soft codec environments.

    All three wallplate models support AES67 and Dante audio networking, VLAN tagging and standard PoE power. Each incorporates core 5 Series capabilities, including ultra-low latency 4K60 4:4:4 video transmission, independent USB-over-IP routing and a 45-degree Ethernet connector to simplify installation.

    Visionary will also demonstrate the PackeTV IPTV and Digital Signage System, a unified, on-premise platform for distributing live TV, video-on-demand, custom channels and digital signage over IP networks. Designed for centralized management and scalable, multi-site deployments, PackeTV supports multicast and unicast streaming and is managed through a secure, web-based interface.

    PackeTV is available without ongoing cloud-based licensing and can be delivered on pre-configured hardware or deployed in a customer’s preferred virtual machine environment. The system is engineered for high-availability applications in hospitality, corporate, healthcare, and educational facilities, providing reliable, network-optimized content delivery with low operational overhead.

    The new JBL Intellivox Active Digital Beam Shaping Column loudspeakers, featuring Dante® networked audio, supports system design flexibility for large and acoustically challenging spaces. The new generation combines multiple drivers, integrated multi-channel amplification, and Digital Directivity Synthesis (DDS) technology to precisely control sound coverage and improve intelligibility while reducing reflections. With a slim architectural form factor, support for Dante® and analog inputs, IP control, redundancy, and software-based design and monitoring tools, Intellivox is well suited for transport hubs, houses of worship, theaters, and public buildings.

    Martin Macula

    Martin Professional debuted Martin Macula, a brand-agnostic remote follow spot system that enables standard moving lights to operate as ground-based, remotely controlled tracking fixtures. Designed to improve safety and consistency, Macula replaces height-based operation with an ergonomic base station that provides precise pan, tilt and zoom control with real-time visual feedback, while supporting cue-based handoff between console and operator. Compatible with fixtures from any manufacturer and supporting camera-based tracking, simplified networking and PosiStageNet output, Macula is suited for theater, touring, broadcast and sports applications.

    JBL Professional SRX912M, SRX915M, SRX922

    JBL expanded the SRX900 Series, adding the SRX912M, SRX915M and SRX922 to its scalable powered platform for touring, rental, installation and production applications. The SRX912M delivers a compact, low-profile solution for monitoring and front-fill use, the SRX915M offers increased low-frequency extension and headroom for higher-output needs, and the SRX922 provides a three-way point-source option with controlled directivity, with all models sharing amplification, DSP, rigging and unified software control for seamless system integration.

    Martin MAC One Beam

    Martin Professional introduced the MAC One Beam, an ultra-compact beam moving head designed to deliver tight, high-intensity beams and dynamic visual effects in a lightweight, space-efficient form. Powered by an automotive-grade LILI engine producing approximately 7 million candela, the fixture delivers precise aerial effects while addressing industry considerations around eye safety, making it well suited for stages, studios, broadcast, and live events. Designed to integrate seamlessly with the MAC One wash fixture, MAC One Beam supports shared rigging, control options including Martin P3, and dense deployment for flexible, efficient lighting designs.

    FLUX:: will preview SPAT Revolution 26.03 and MiRA Audio Analyzer 26.03 at ISE 2026, showcasing new upgrades across its immersive audio ecosystem.
