  • Red Dot Digital Media and AIM Sports Group Create New Interactive System to Measure Athletes’ Vertical Jump

Red Dot Digital Media and AIM Sports Group Create New Interactive System to Measure Athletes’ Vertical Jump

Red Dot Digital Media, a leading specialty integrator in the digital signage space, recently collaborated with AIM Sports Group to design and deliver an innovative interactive vertical jump system that captures verified player measurables and integrates them into AIM’s Sports Group newly launched AIM+ digital platform.

AIM+ leverages AI to provide advanced analytics, and this activation gave athletes and spectators a gamified way to engage with the technology. The system made its debut at the SoCal Cup Showcase, AIM’s Sports Group national boys volleyball tournaments, where athletes could measure their vertical jump, view live leaderboards and even compare themselves to well-known professional athletes. Each jump was logged into AIM+, automatically updating the player’s digital profile with fresh stats and tournament highlights.

A New Vision for Measuring Vertical Jump

AIM Sports Group has built a reputation for pushing the boundaries of youth sports, and the launch of AIM+ created the opportunity to integrate real-time performance data into a digital-first experience. The challenge was to design a system that would elevate the tournament atmosphere while driving athlete engagement and showcasing AIM+ as an innovative, tech-forward platform to modernize a form of manual sports measurement.

For the past 30 years, the Vertec system had been widely used to measure athletes’ vertical jump. While the pole-and-plastic-vane system is accurate and ubiquitous within the sports community, tech-enabled systems using lasers and other forms of measurement have struggled to gain widespread adoption.

AIM+ marks an important step forward in bringing technology into the vertical jump measurement process with greater accuracy, interactivity and engagement than ever before. The AIM+ development timeline, however, was tight. Red Dot had less than a month to design, build and test the system. There was also no existing blueprint for a comparable activation, meaning the team was essentially creating a new category of interactive measurement from scratch. Finally, the solution had to be cost-conscious, safe and robust enough to stand up to heavy use by athletes over the course of the event.

“With no existing blueprint for this type of digital-forward solution, Red Dot Digital Media embraced the challenge and delivered beyond our expectations,” said John Gallegos, Founder & CEO of AIM Sports Group. “This project redefined how we capture performance metrics for AIM+ and created an engaging experience for our athletes and attendees. The level of innovation and execution drove unprecedented engagement, and it’s helping us think bigger about what’s possible for the future of youth sports.”

    Bringing the Concept to Life

Red Dot engineered a custom-built vertical jump meter anchored by a 55-inch interactive touch display mounted on a truss-style stand. Before each attempt, an attendant entered the athlete’s information and standing reach into an iPad interface, which connected wirelessly to a BrightSign media player powering the system. When the athlete jumped and tapped the screen, the system instantly calculated and displayed their vertical leap with a dynamic graphic. Immediately following each jump, the display transitioned to a live leaderboard that highlighted the athlete’s score and showed their ranking within their age division. If their performance landed them in the top ten, their name appeared on the board until displaced by higher scores.

To inspire participants further, the leaderboard also featured vertical jump statistics from famous athletes, giving players a tangible benchmark to compare themselves against. When not in use, the system runs in a standby mode that cycles through sponsor content and promotional videos. The display is also pre-programmed with contextual icons for different sports, such as men’s and women’s volleyball net heights and a basketball rim, helping athletes better visualize their jump results.

To support AIM’s Sports Group digital vision, the system logs each participant’s results and uploads them to AIM+, allowing players to access their data long after the event. The design incorporated practical branding and usability elements, including a custom wrap around the truss to promote AIM Sports Group, while serving as a static measuring tool for athletes to gauge their standing reach.

A Partnership Built on Vision, Delivering Measurable Results

For AIM Sports Group, the challenge was not only finding a partner capable of executing the technical vision but also one that could truly understand the concept. Few vendors had the imagination or expertise to approach something so new.

Red Dot embraced the challenge, leveraging its custom-build approach and industry knowledge to bring the idea to life. President Darryl Kuder’s volleyball background proved invaluable, adding a layer of insight that shaped design choices and ensured the system resonated with athletes and coaches alike.

The impact was immediate. AIM Sports Group exceeded its AIM+ sign-up goal by 184%, fueled by nonstop lines of athletes eager to measure their vertical jumps and see their names on the leaderboard. The activation became one of the highlights of the SoCal Cup Showcase, proving that a digital-first measurement tool could drive engagement, generate valuable data and reinforce AIM’s Sports Group reputation as a leader in sports innovation. Beyond its measurable success, the project delivered a powerful proof of concept, showing that gamified, tech-enabled experiences can fundamentally change how performance metrics are captured and shared in youth sports.

  • LG Commercial Displays in the Meryl Streep Center for Performing Artists Support the Creative & Educational Mission of the SAG-AFTRA Foundation

LG Commercial Displays in the Meryl Streep Center for Performing Artists Support the Creative & Educational Mission of the SAG-AFTRA Foundation

The SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s Meryl Streep Center for Performing Artists located in the heart of Los Angeles offers a chic, modern setting for all types of events – from premieres, For Your Consid-eration events and private screenings for up to 100 guests, to elegant receptions, intimate dinners and corporate presentations. This magnificent facility on the penthouse level at 5757 Wilshire Blvd. has been meticulously designed to cater to a variety of creative and corporate needs, ensuring a memorable experience for both hosts and guests.

The 15,000-square-foot world-class facility serves as an educational hub and creative home for all 160,000 SAG-AFTRA artists. Named in honor of Actors’ Council member and longtime SAG-AFTRA Foundation supporter Meryl Streep, the Center features voice-over recording sound booths, on-camera recording studios, tech labs, an editing bay and instructional classrooms, all equipped with advanced commercial displays provided by LG Electronics USA.

The centerpiece of the space is the 100-seat Tom Hanks & Rita Wilson Screening Room, a state-of-the-art facility named in honor of two additional major supporters of the Foundation. The screening room, “Powered by LG,” hosts the Foundation’s Conversations programs and The Business panels. Members also enjoy film and television screenings on the stunning 200-inch LG “Miraclass” 4K direct view LED cinema screen, complemented by immersive surround sound. All seats in the screening room are dedicated to SAG-AFTRA performers who made significant contributions to the Founda-tion’s Emergency Financial Assistance Program to support their community in times of urgent need.

“From the start, we envisioned the Meryl Streep Cen-ter as a dynamic, multi-purpose facility that could sup-port our members in every aspect of their creative ca-reers,” said SAG-AFTRA Foundation Chief Operating Officer Charlotte Wells. “Having LG’s cutting-edge technology – especially the cinema display in the screening room – helps us realize that vision by providing professional-grade tools that elevate the en-tire experience for guests.”

The screening room is utilized for film screenings, in-ternal presentations, interviews and web conferences. Because of its varied uses, a flexible screening solution was essential, especially given that many events are held in a lit room, necessitating a display that delivers a vivid performance in a lighted environment. Although a ceiling height restriction ruled out front projection, the technology wouldn’t have been suitable in any case, because of the lit presen-tation requirement.

The decision to install the Miraclass 4K LED cinema display came at the recommendation of leading cinema value-added reseller and integrator Moving iMage Technologies, Inc. (MiT), which had in-stalled the same display at the CGV Cinemas Buena Park. MiT streamlined the LG Miraclass installa-tion using its patented TruSquare™ cinema-centric direct view LED frame. MiT also integrated a state-of-the-art multichannel audio system in the screening room to complement the LG display and deliver the ultimate cinematic experience.

The Miraclass 4K DVLED display “provides gorgeous, precision image quality,” according to Frank Tees, MiT’s Technical Sales Support Vice President. “Direct view is more precise than projector tech-nology and is suitable for screenings when the lights are on, allowing for more ambient light without sacrificing its image quality,” he said. “With its increased dynamic range, deep blacks and a wide color gamut with accurate, dynamic color representation, this display produces an image that takes your breath away – whether that’s for movie screenings or presentations.”

The 200-inch 4K LG Miraclass display is designed to deliver incredible picture quality and perfor-mance by combining 24-bit color processing with LG’s latest self-emissive LED pixels to reproduce 68.7 billion colors and near-perfect blacks, enabling outstanding contrast and accuracy for every film and visual style. Because each pixel is identical and lit individually, the screens exhibit brightness uniformity all the way to the last corner pixel, solving a key drawback of single-source projection solutions.

The display reproduces DCI-P3 colors just as movie directors intended. Composed of individual, self-emissive, 1.25mm pixel pitch LEDs, working independently, the resulting picture quality is bright and brilliant, with no corner dimming or image distortion. Consistent brightness and clarity from corner to corner of the screen allows audiences to fully immerse themselves in the viewing experience, wherever they sit. In addition, the half-brightness LED lifetime is approximately 100,000 hours – around twice that of comparable projection technology.

While projectors beam a small “display” of light onto a large reflective surface, compromising contrast ratios and uniformity of image – often resulting in soft focus at the projection screen’s edges – this isn’t an issue with the LG Direct View Miraclass 4K LED cinema display, which is native and results in exact uniformity across the entire surface – corner to corner. Super-sharp focus and pinpoint bright-ness accuracy result in a noticeably improved “direct” viewing experience with a wider viewing angle – ideally suited for the Hanks-Wilson Screening Room.

“The design of the Tom Hanks & Rita Wilson Screening Room presented a unique challenge, with its low ceiling and intimate layout,” said Michael Kosla, B2B Senior Vice President, LG Electronics USA. “The LG Miraclass 4K LED cinema display was the ideal solution—not only eliminating the need for a projection booth but also delivering exceptional viewing angles and uniform brightness that ensure every seat, and even standing-room positions, offer a premium cinematic experience.”

The screening room already had a significant amount of existing technologies and cabling housed within what MiT’s Tees calls an “impressive” control room. MiT worked closely with LG on both engineering and product support during the build, with its field engineers designing and building the fabricated frame that supports the Miraclass on the small stage – with approval from SAG-AFTRA Foundation architects. Significantly, he said the screening room also boasts a “fairly unique” sound system, supported by design and acoustical engineering, so very little needed to be done in terms of audio, except for some final adjustments from pro audio experts Meyer Sound.

LG technology is featured throughout the Meryl Streep Center for Performing Artists. Two 86-inch UHD signage displays are installed in the lobby and conference room / classroom, with five 65-inch UHD signage displays in the reception area, program room, production suite, voiceover room and greenroom – while a 55-inch Quick Works all-in-one video conferencing display is housed in the editing bay. Elsewhere, a 32-inch full HD display and 43inch High Haze UHD dis-play furnish the voiceover studio, with two 27-inch UltraFine PC monitors in the voiceover solo booth.

“The wide array of LG display technology throughout the Meryl Streep Center truly enhances our programs,” said Wells. “The crown jewel is the LG cinema display in the Screening Room. It delivers everything we want for the space, from world-class film screenings to presentations that look just as good with the lights on as with them switched off.

“We couldn’t be happier with how things have turned out. This has been a massive project, and we are beyond grateful for the deep expertise of LG and MiT in making this space the best it could be,” she concluded. “We knew it had to be the LG Miraclass 4K LED cinema display from the minute we enjoyed a viewing at CGV Cinemas Buena Park, and we are very pleased to be able to offer SAG-AFTRA members the same picture quality for our own programs and screenings.”

Powered by LG’s 6th-generation α9 (Alpha 9) AI Processor, the display intelligently analyzes the creator’s intent to optimize every scene. It reduces noise, sharpens clarity and recognizes faces, objects, text and backgrounds to deliver more natural, detailed and lifelike images. In addition, it has a high variable refresh rate up to 144Hz, which ensures smooth, blur-free motion, making it ideal for fast-paced gaming and dynamic sports content.

Beyond its advanced processing capabilities, LG’s powerful webOS smart TV platform allows users to effortlessly enjoy LG Channels, LG’s free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) service, as well as other OTT and gaming content. What’s more, by subscribing to LG Gallery+, users can enhance the aesthetic of their living spaces with an array of visual content, turning their homes into personalized exhibitions with famous paintings or game illustrations. The display also supports AirPlay 2 and Miracast, enabling convenient screen sharing with iOS and Android OS devices.

The LG MAGNIT Active Micro LED features Dolby Vision high dynamic range technology to deliver stunning visuals with a dazzling array of colors, sharper contrast and richer details. It has also received Color Consistency Wide Viewing certification from TÜV Rheinland, underscoring its ability to deliver uniform color and wide viewing angles, even at ultra-large screen sizes.

LG designed the MAGNIT Active Micro LED with both installation environments and user well-being in mind. The product has been certified for electromagnetic compatibility under U.S. Federal Communications Commission regulations for residential environments (EMC Class B).

The built-in speakers on each side of the display deliver 4.2-channels of sound, an audio field that seems to surround the listener with a total output of 100 watts. The display also supports enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) for virtually lossless playback of high-quality audio, enabling users to enjoy rich, cinematic sound in the comfort of home.

Beyond the luxury residential market, LG aims to advance this product into a fully scalable video wall solution, further strengthening its presence in the B2B market. With exceptional image fidelity, the display technology also would be ideal for executive boardrooms, design studios, medical visualization suites, and other spaces where visual precision and performance matter most.

“With its impressive size that spans an entire wall in lifelike colors and stunning ultra-high-definition detail, the new LG MAGNIT Active Micro LED transforms a home into a true theater, delivering an unmatched cinematic experience,” said Michael Kosla, B2B senior vice president at LG Electronics USA.

It can run standalone or daisy chained for creative digital signage setups, fully manageable via the Philips Wave cloud platform.

PPDS, the exclusive global provider of Philips Professional Displays and complementary solutions, is pleased to announce the launch of the 32:9 Philips Stretch 3150, delivering advanced creativity, flexibility, and around-the-clock reliability for a widening range of environments and applications.

Reimagined using invaluable market feedback, as well as harnessing the latest breakthroughs in screen technology and compact design, the all new Philips Stretch 3150 marks another major milestone in PPDS’ mission to amalgamate best in class visual performance with better energy efficiency across an expanding range of form factors.

Available now – and set to go on show for the first time at ISE 2026 in Barcelona – the unique and instantly recognisable Philips Stretch 3150 has been crafted to widen the possibilities for installations that demand to be seen, featuring a stunning 37”, 32:9, 1920×540 resolution display.

Superseding the popular Philips S-Line – unveiled in 2022 – the upgraded and enhanced Philips Stretch 3150 has been modelled around the evolving needs of the market, with each display able to be tailored with solutions for retail, transportation, food and beverage, hospitality, education, banking, healthcare, public venues, stadiums and arenas, and more.

    More content, less space

With flexibility and reliability at its core, the portrait and landscape mountable Philips Stretch 3150 has been designed to offer reliability 24/7, with 700 cd/m2 brightness offering crystal clear visibility in natural and artificial lighting conditions.

Weighing just 7.6kg and featuring ultra narrow bezels (7.7mm L/R and 14.0mm T/B), the Philips Stretch 3150 is designed to transform almost any space, particularly those unsuitable for more conventional sized digital signage displays – including areas above in store shelving, or even on temporary walls, such as those used on kiosks and pop ups within shopping malls.

Branding, marketing, live timetables, wayfinding, and menu boards are among the most popular applications for the Philips Stretch (S-Line) display to date, with the new model opening even greater opportunities and benefits.

    Simple yet powerful

Expanding possibilities further, Philips Stretch 3150 displays can be installed either as a standalone solution or, for larger and more creative visions, multiple displays can be seamlessly daisy chained by connecting the HDMI Out port to the HDMI In port of another display.

For tiled setups, businesses can simply connect two or more Philips Stretch 3150 displays with a single external player for single source content management that is effortless, no matter the number of displays selected.

One of the biggest – yet invisible – upgrades on the new Philips Stretch 3150 is the inclusion of a discreetly integrated slot for a CRD32 Wi-Fi module, introducing optional wireless network connectivity and Bluetooth functionality on the display.

Meeting all needs and preferences (including security), AV/IT managers can easily create and schedule content to play on their displays either directly from the Cloud (centrally and remotely managed), from local memory, or via USB.

Eliminating many of the obstacles faced by users of other comparable models in the market, the Philips Stretch 3150 is now powered via the Android 13 System on Chip, delivering enhanced connectivity and trusted security built in. This also means the Philips Stretch 3150 is also optimised for native Android apps, with users able to install their desired apps directly to the display, eliminating the need for an external media player.

    Sustainable savings

Helping unlock its power, versatility, and intelligence, the Philips Stretch 3150 joins PPDS’ growing portfolio of Android SoC displays compatible with Philips Wave. This revolutionary cloud platform puts users fully in control of their display network, simplifying installation and set up, along with enabling easier monitoring and control, upgrading firmware, managing playlists and setting power schedules.

Philips Wave plays an integral role in PPDS’ ever evolving sustainability strategy, helping users to save time and energy, cutting down on the need for physical travel to display locations, and reducing overall environmental impact via remote device management.

The Philips Stretch 3150 also delivers on a 60 per cent reduction in power use compared to its predecessor, typically consuming 26W, earning an F rated EU Energy Label.

Bart Wouters, Global Product Manager for Digital Signage at PPDS commented: “At PPDS, our focus fulfilling and catering for the visual needs and unique requirements of the market, no matter how creative or complex those ambitions might be.

“With the new and enhanced Philips Stretch 3150, we are bringing the best of the original Philips S-Line, together with a wave of new and upgraded features and designs, providing our partners and customers with the high quality tools to reach and exceed their ambitions.”

The new Philips Stretch 3150 will be showcasing on Philips booth 3P500 at ISE 2026.

  • OSA International Delivers Megan Moroney’s Tour Visuals With Absen X5 LED Displays

OSA International Delivers Megan Moroney’s Tour Visuals With Absen X5 LED Displays

As crowds gather, Megan Moroney steps onto stages across the country with a sound that has quickly become a fixture in modern country music. She gained national attention with her single “Tennessee Orange” following her debut EP Pistol Made of Roses. She released her first album, Lucky, in 2023 and followed it with Am I Okay? in 2024, which debuted in the top 10 of the Billboard 200. As a result, Moroney’s tour has taken her team across a wide mix of venues, from rodeos and music festivals to arenas and outdoor stages.

For OSA International, Inc., the variety demanded an LED system that could withstand shifting environments, tight schedules and repeated transport. To meet those needs, OSA International deployed Absen’s X5, a legacy product no longer in production but still performing like new, citing its durability, serviceability and performance consistency across more than 60 shows.

Matt Searle, video director for OSA International, said the X5 tiles performed reliably in all conditions, including weather-sensitive locations such as Red Rocks. “The reliability and durability really come from the standard of the tile itself,” he said. “You can put a lot of weight on it, and if you need to swap out a tile, it’s easy to do so.” Searle noted that the design reduced pressure points found in other systems, cutting load-in and load-out time and limiting downtime during travel. After more than 60 shows, he reported that the X5 “looked just as good as it did on the first show,” highlighting the product’s long-term stability.

For Searle, the system’s stability played a direct role in show execution. “The durability of the tiles made it so that we knew we had a safe show,” he said. “It made it good for me directing the show, knowing everything was safe and performing the way it should.”

Support from Absen contributed to the tour’s efficiency. Searle said Absen’s U.S. technical team responded quickly to early-tour issues. “As soon as I had issues on the first show out, they had a technician available standing by,” he said. “It felt good going across the country and other countries knowing they were a phone call away.” That rapid response emphasized Absen’s commitment to long-term product reliability through ongoing support, which is a core element of the company’s engineering philosophy.

Timmy Abercrombie, production manager for Megan Moroney, emphasized the X5 system’s adaptability for both indoor and outdoor use. The heavier tile construction allowed the crew to secure the walls in windy conditions and maintain fast build times. “It’s been a system that’s worked,” he said. “The build time is completely fast and efficient.”

Abercrombie cited a quick technical resolution earlier in the year when an issue arose. “Absen took over one of the tiles and the computer,” he said. “Within 10 minutes, they had it fixed. Everything was up and running, and we were ready for the show that night.” He noted that the collaborative relationship between OSA International and Absen helped keep the tour on schedule, describing the partnership as aligned around shared tour-wide goals.

Niel Niu, mechanical design engineer for Absen Inc., said the company aims to provide both equipment and ongoing support. “We are not only an LED manufacturing company; we are a full solution support partner,” he said. Niu highlighted that the X5’s durability and service-friendly design reflect the same engineering principles Absen applies across its product portfolio today, contributing to the product line’s lasting performance in the field.

For OSA International, the combination of rugged hardware and responsive assistance helped maintain consistent visuals throughout a demanding tour. With the X5 system in place, the team delivered stable performance across diverse venues, weather conditions and tight travel windows.

Absen’s X5 is a 5.2mm LED display designed for outdoor rental applications, including concerts, live shows and festivals. The X5 supports front and rear module access, allowing module replacement in about five seconds to streamline maintenance during fast turnarounds. With brightness levels exceeding 5000 nits and a high refresh rate, the system is built for clear visibility across varied lighting conditions, but more importantly, its lasting durability spotlights Absen’s commitment to engineering products that continue performing long after they leave production.

ISE 2026 is building to be one of PPDS’ most eventful and interactive shows to date, with the company set to showcase its most advanced suite of Philips Professional Displays and software solutions to date. Digital signage, ePaper, interactive, dvLED (indoor, outdoor and AIO), and professional TVs are all planned to transform the stand into a theatre of visual activity.

Retail, education, corporate, food and beverage, transportation, public venues, and hospitality, will all have their space on the booth, with the addition of tailored solutions for control rooms and DOOH in the ISE 2026 plans.

    Immersive experiences

For ISE 2026, the Philips booth will debut a new ‘Picture this’ theme, encouraging visitors to the booth to explore the reaches of their imaginations, using displays and software to expand on the benefits of artificial intelligence (AI). Visitors to booth 3N500 will also have the opportunity to put themselves – literally – in the picture and become part of the exhibition.

Ron Cottaar, Director of Global Marketing at PPDS, commented: “At ISE 2025, we wowed visitors with AI-infused paintings by masters like Rembrandt, transforming our stand into a spectacular art gallery where paintings come to life right before the eyes. This year, we are taking things further, and we want to create a more interactive and immersive experience for our visitors, letting them become part of our story.”

    Future ready launch plans

With full details set to follow in the coming weeks and during the show, PPDS can reveal that visitors to the Philips booth will become the first to experience a host of portfolio debuts, including brand new and future ready digital signage displays, and more next generation, game changing professional TVs.

Stretching the limits of innovation and imagination, the not to be missed portfolio will include an exciting range of eye catching new form factors, ultra slim designs, and breakthrough features.

PPDS will also be unveiling a brand new and improved Signage line up, including its first AI ready Philips Signage models, supporting businesses today and into the future with the processing power required for their AI needs.

Andrea Barbuti, Global Product Management Lead EMEA at PPDS, added: “We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of innovation, leading the market forward. AI is no longer just a buzzword. Adoption is growing, and businesses around the world are increasingly exploring opportunities and ways AI can benefit their day to day operations and ambitions.

He continued: “Signage can play a crucial role in achieving those goals, whatever the setting, be it a retail store, a corporate office, or somewhere else. But not all displays are created equally, and many lack the processing power required to achieve the desired experience and outcomes. Our new signage portfolio will bring customers clearly defined display choices to suit their business needs.”

    LED made simple

And that’s not all. With the indoor and outdoor portfolio of Philips LED continuing to grow and evolve, PPDS will also be unveiling a new, highly intuitive online solution, designed to support businesses, architects, and integrators, making it even easier to it easier to sort, select and specify Philips LED.

    New Wave innovation

With a raft of fresh new features bringing revenue generating benefits for system integrators and customers, Philips Wave and its ProStore will also be unveiling new evolutions and partnerships during the show.

Introduced at ISE 2023 and updated to meet the unique requirements of individual customers, the cloud based Philips Wave ecosystem takes a fresh approach to the way businesses manage, monitor, and control their display fleets, while unlocking the full potential of their Philips Professional Displays.

    Sustainability

As with previous shows, sustainability will also play a prominent role for PPDS during ISE 2026, both on and off the stand.

Continuing its commitment to a more sustainable AV industry, PPDS will be sponsoring and supporting the ISE Sustainability Hackathon for the second year running. Over two days, teams of students will once again collaborate intensively at Fira de Barcelona to tackle real world challenges in the fields of sustainability, innovation, and cybersecurity. Working alongside professionals from education and across industries, participants will develop fresh ideas and solutions, bringing innovation to life on the ISE show floor.

In the run up to the show, the students will undergo a preselection assessment to identify their unique perspectives and skill sets. Sixty elite students will be chosen to take part in the ISE Hackathon.

The Hackathon will begin at 08:00 on Thursday 5 February, with the sustainability track students receiving a briefing from the PPDS team, and support for the students will continue throughout their work. This will culminate with a series of project presentations starting at midday on Friday 6 February on the Pitching Stage in Congress Square, followed by an Awards Ceremony at 15:00, during which the winning teams will be announced.

On the stand, PPDS’ commitment and global strategy to developing better energy efficiency and more environmentally conscious features into its displays will continue to be a prominent fixture, showcasing the latest evolutions in its new and existing solutions, such as the EPEAT Climate+ Gold rated Philips Signage 3000 Series EcoDesign and award winning ‘zero power’ Philips Tableaux ePaper range, as well as the Philips Unite LED 6000 Series All In One.

Visitors are also invited to relax into the unique Ambilight lounge, creating stunning illuminated and immersive experiences.

PPDS will also be providing updates surrounding its partnership with FC Barcelona and Oracle Red Bull Racing, with several incentives and prizes to be won for those visiting the booth.

    Overcoming barriers

PPDS will continue to operate an open approach, with the Philips booth visible and accessible to all, with no exclusive guest lists or barriers.

In addition, with ISE 2025 attracting a record number of visitors from 168 countries, PPDS’ global management team, together with local and international sales executives from around the world – including EMEA, APAC and North America – will be present and accessible throughout the show, providing live demonstrations and answering any questions.

Finally, PPDS’ infamous coffee bar will also return, serving throughout ISE 2026, making the Philips stand the perfect destination to meet and unwind.

Jae O Choi Park, EMEA Commercial Head at PPDS, concluded: “ISE is one of our biggest shows in the calendar, and we cannot wait to return to Barcelona to showcase and share just some of the incredible innovations we have been working on. • Samsung Enhances LED Display Lineup with The Wall MPF Series

Samsung Enhances LED Display Lineup with The Wall MPF Series

Samsung has launched the new Wall MPF Series, an advanced addition to its Chip-on-Board LED lineup designed for modern corporate, government, and luxury environments. With 1,000 nits brightness, deeper blacks and a high 43,000:1 contrast ratio, this display delivers stunning visuals that remain sharp, immersive and comfortable for long-term viewing. It also features Pantone and TUV Rheinland certifications, ensuring accurate colors and reduced eye strain, ideal for offices, retail, hospitality and mission-critical command centers.

Powered by the NQM AI Gen2 processor, The Wall MPF automatically enhances every frame with AI upscaling, improved contrast and noise reduction, even upgrading content up to 8K quality. Its redesigned cabinet is lighter, slimmer and easier to maintain, offering simpler installation and faster repairs. The MPF Series aims to help businesses create compelling, high-impact visual spaces with minimal effort.

Samsung today announced a new edition of its large-format LED display, The Wall, marking a pivotal expansion to its Chip on Board (CoB) lineup. Like earlier models of The Wall, the MPF series optimizes viewing experiences across an array of environments, making it the perfect centerpiece for corporate office spaces, lobbies, waiting rooms, command centers and luxury homes.

“The Wall has set the bar for larger-than-life visual experiences, and the latest MPF series builds on that legacy,” said Jonathan Del Rosario, Head of Product, Display Division, Samsung Electronics America. “This series is a standout in the market, delivering enhanced brightness at 1,000nits, more immersive visuals with AI upscaling and simplified installation. With The Wall MPF, Samsung is further empowering businesses to create captivating spaces that inform, inspire and strengthen connections with their audiences.”

    Elevating Screen Vibrancy

The Wall MPF series offers more vibrancy than most indoor LED displays currently available, with enhanced brightness at 1,000nits and over 1.6 times super black depth. Black Seal Technology+ gives the MPF series a higher contrast ratio of 43,000:1, enabling its purest black levels to reveal new depth in detail, drawing viewers deeper into the content.

Its premium picture quality has obtained certifications from Pantone and TUV Rheinland Eye Comfort, which validate both the accurate expression of 2,140 colors, including 110 newly added skin tone shades, and the reduction of harmful blue lights, helping ease eye strain. The powerful screen optimizations are designed to give corporate and government offices, retail stores, hotels and healthcare facilities a premium display that renders all visuals in the exact form they were intended, from branded content and artwork to scan images and operational feeds.

Automating Image Contrast and Noise Control

Configured with the NQM AI Gen2 processor, The Wall MPF series automatically analyzes and enhances frames of all sizes. AI upscaling transforms lower resolution content to up to 8K resolution, while simultaneously amplifying image contrast and eliminating noise.1 Users can now immerse themselves in crisp multi-sensory content, experiencing life-like clarity across any environment.

    Simplifying Cabinet Installation

In addition to its improved screen features, The Wall MPF series streamlines the installation process through its consolidated cabinet structure. The MPF series is a one-frame structure, reducing the cabinet depth by 35 percent and weight by 18 percent.2 Modules can now be easily removed for maintenance and replaced directly from the screen, considerably reducing repair wait times.
