A Raceway For All Cables With FSR At ISE 2023

“In Stock” Is The Mantra for FSR

Integrated Systems Europe 2023 has returned to Barcelona, and so has AVNation to cover the latest innovations within the AV industry. We join FSR’s Director of Global Sales Chaz Porter in their booth to discuss how they are expanding their products to the international market.

The Smart-Way raceway system has been a staple for FSR for four years, providing a route for cables within a seamless protective case. These raceways have gone from the floor to the wall, and now their latest addition is adaptable to any cable in the world.

If a client wants to standardize on a space and provide a clean, low-profile way to send cables, they are now able to do so without limitation thanks to the new 40mm square openings within the device boxes. In addition to the raceway, the PWB-323 Project Wall Box is getting a similar expansion to accommodate international plugs and cables.

A strength of the company is the reliability and speed to provide their solutions. Porter states, “one of the initiatives that FSR had, coincidentally prior to the pandemic, was to be able to provide products for customers in rapid times. We can provide product and ship it before our competitors can create a quote for it.” All of the products being shown in their stand are in stock and available to ship for customers.

More information about FSR and their products can be found on their website. All of AVNation’s coverage of Integrated Systems Europe 2023 can be found here.

FSR Brightens Christmas Day for Kids Living in Group Foster Home

Giving back is woven into the fabric of FSR, a leading manufacturer of Pro AV equipment. So when the Florida non-profit, Kindness Shared Happiness Squared, sought sponsors to bring Christmas cheer to the young residents of a group foster home several years ago, FSR president Jan Sandri didn’t hesitate for a minute. Continuing the tradition in 2022, Sandri and FSR will send 44 kids and 8 staff members to the movies on Christmas Day with gift cards for candy, popcorn, or any snack they chose.

“These kids aren’t able to spend the holidays with family, but this program – the Annual Christmas Movie Trip – gives them something to look forward to. It’s the most wonderful gift we can give them on Christmas Day,” said Sandri. “They go as a group and are so excited. Last year one boy told me he felt like a king! We are so happy to work with this wonderful charity and bring joy to those that may not otherwise experience it this holiday season.”

The participants of the Christmas Day Movie Trip are all residents of a group foster home. In addition to the movie outing, each child will also receive a gift selected just for them.

Kindness Shared Happiness Squared is a non-profit organization created in 2015 to distribute happiness to kids in need and rescue animals. The organization is operated 100% by volunteers and all programs are free for participants.

FSR manufactures audio and video switching, control products, connectivity boxes and collaboration systems from its headquarters in Woodland Park, NJ.

In Las Vegas, AVNation’s Rich Fregosa is on the InfoComm 2022 show floor with Chaz Porter, Director of Global Sales at FSR. After going through such unprecedented times, Chaz explains that the synergy and dynamic of the show have been fantastic. To say it’s great to be back would be an understatement.

Often an event like InfoComm can be an excellent opportunity for networking, but Chaz points out that the long waiting time since the last in-person show has brought people back with an intensity and a seriousness for learning about new products.

One of the latest innovations that FSR is showing off at their booth is PWB-CMU, a project wall box for masonry walls. One of the things that FSR has found is that there are more and more projects that require customers to go through concrete walls. At this show, they’ve added to this line—now, they have a variety of products that all work for these kinds of spaces. FSR is committed to coming up with solutions to increase connectivity for their customers.
