    SDVoE Alliance Spotlights Semtech, Broadata and AVPro Edge Demonstrations at InfoComm 2026

    The SDVoE Alliance will showcase a series of technology demonstrations at InfoComm 2026 featuring solutions from Semtech, Broadata, and AVPro Edge. Hosted at booth C7074, the demonstrations will highlight how SDVoE technology supports a wide range of professional AV applications, including conference rooms, medical imaging environments, and esports production workflows. The alliance will also demonstrate SDVoE Orchestrator, a free software platform that simplifies the management, routing, configuration, and monitoring of SDVoE-enabled networks.

    The featured demonstrations will showcase the flexibility of 10G Ethernet infrastructure for delivering uncompressed, zero-latency video, USB connectivity, and advanced AV distribution. From Semtech’s USB-over-video transport technology to Broadata’s medical-grade fiber solutions and AVPro Edge’s esports production workflow, the presentations emphasize SDVoE’s ability to support modern AV and IT environments with interoperability, scalability, and high-performance networked AV transport.

    The SDVoE Alliance, a nonprofit consortium of technology providers collaborating to standardize the adoption of Ethernet to transport AV signals in professional AV environments, will present demonstrations at InfoComm 2026 from SDVoE Alliance members Semtech, Broadata and AVPro Edge. Hosted in the SDVoE Alliance booth, #C7074, the demonstrations will highlight applications for conference rooms, medical environments and esports production workflows. Additionally, the SDVoE Alliance will feature SDVoE Orchestrator, a free software application for managing, routing, configuring and monitoring SDVoE-enabled networks.

    SDVoE Orchestrator serves as a centralized management platform for SDVoE-enabled systems. Available as a free standalone application for Windows, SDVoE Orchestrator provides device status information and enables users to route, configure and monitor SDVoE endpoints across a network through an intuitive software interface.

    Semtech will demonstrate its new UEX chip, which enables USB 2.0 data transmission alongside high-quality video over a single connection. The demonstration will show how UEX technology simplifies conference room deployments by reducing cabling requirements while supporting video and USB connectivity across a unified infrastructure.

    Broadata will present SDVoE AV transport and fiber-based solutions designed for medical integration. The demonstration will feature a modular SDVoE rack-integration system supporting HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and legacy-format inputs over fiber, with real-time switching and distribution of 4K60 content at ultra-low latency. Broadata will also showcase a compact mini HDMI encoder and decoder capable of delivering 4K60 video with visually lossless compression and zero latency, including a point-to-point mode that eliminates the need for a separate HDMI extender. In addition, a direct fiber-input SDVoE-compatible medical monitor will demonstrate uncompressed real-time imaging without an external receiver for surgical and hybrid operating environments.

    AVPro Edge will present an esports-focused demonstration featuring the AC-MXNET-10G-TCVR transceiver, which can stream SDVoE and H.26x video from a single device. AVPro Edge’s demonstration will highlight how SDVoE supports the image quality and zero latency required for competitive gaming while simultaneously delivering an H.26x stream to OBS software to simulate a live production workflow. Through AVPro Flow, the demonstration will showcase interoperability between open standards and hybrid MXnet deployments that combine 10G SDVoE and 1G H.26x endpoints.

    The demonstrations support the SDVoE Alliance’s Power of 10 initiative, which highlights how 10G Ethernet infrastructure enables zero-latency, uncompressed 4K60 4:4:4 video, seamless multiview and video wall functionality, robust KVM, instantaneous switching and support for USB 2.0 alongside video on a single 10G infrastructure. With proven interoperability, a standard software interface, ultra-low power consumption and a common ASIC across manufacturers, SDVoE provides a unified platform for professional AV deployments.

    SDVoE Alliance to Introduce FlexLinQ at ISE 2026

    The SDVoE Alliance has announced the launch of FlexLinQ, a new reference design developed by Semtech, which will be unveiled at Integrated Systems Europe 2026. FlexLinQ enables SDVoE AV-over-IP systems to operate reliably across Ethernet speeds ranging from 10GbE down to 1GbE, while preserving the low latency and visual performance required in professional AV environments.

    FlexLinQ automatically negotiates link speeds based on available network conditions, removing the need for manual configuration or forced infrastructure upgrades. According to SDVoE Alliance President Stephane Tremblay, the technology simplifies product development for manufacturers and delivers faster, more predictable deployments for integrators, even in mixed or legacy network environments.

Powered by FlexLinQ, SDVoE now supports networks from 10GbE to 1GbE while maintaining the low latency and visual quality required in professional AV environments.

    FlexLinQ introduces automatic link-speed training at startup. Each connection negotiates the maximum achievable bandwidth supported by the network and cabling, whether 10Gbps, 5Gbps, 2.5Gbps or 1Gbps. If a link cannot sustain higher speeds due to cable length, cable category or installation conditions, the system adapts automatically without user intervention.

    “FlexLinQ addresses a practical problem for nearly every audiovisual environment,” said Stephane Tremblay, president of the SDVoE Alliance. “Manufacturers no longer have to design different products for different network speeds, and integrators no longer have to force every project onto 10GbE. The system adapts to the network that’s in place and maintains the performance characteristics professionals expect from SDVoE.”

    For manufacturers, FlexLinQ simplifies product design and portfolio strategy. A single SDVoE-based platform can now support multiple network speeds, reducing development complexity, shortening time to market, and allowing products to be deployed across a wider range of customer environments.

    For integrators, FlexLinQ removes many of the traditional constraints associated with network readiness. Systems automatically adjust to the infrastructure that exists on site, eliminating the need for manual bandwidth planning, link-speed configuration or forced upgrades to 10GbE switching. As a result, FlexLinQ enables more predictable deployments, faster commissioning and greater confidence when working with mixed or legacy networks.

    When operating below 10GbE, visually lossless, intelligent compression is applied only when required. The compression is dynamically managed in real time, ensuring reliable transport while preserving image quality and maintaining the low latency expected of SDVoE systems. FlexLinQ improves system resilience over long cable runs and marginal installations. Rather than failing or requiring troubleshooting, the link adapts to current conditions and maintains operation at the highest sustainable performance level.
