Company’s breakthrough product recognized in UC&C Audio Conferencing Components category
Calgary, Alberta — January 31, 2018 — Nureva Inc., an award-winning collaboration-solutions company, announces that its HDL300 audio conferencing system has won a Top New Technology (TNT) Award in the Unified Communication and Collaboration (UC&C) Audio Components category. The third annual awards recognize new and outstanding products and services that bring technical innovation and notable benefits to both the integrator and the end user. The winning entries in 20 commercial categories were chosen by a team of knowledgeable integrators from around the word and editors from some of the top AV and Integrator publications. Visitors to Nureva’s stand 13-D110 at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) in Amsterdam from February 6-9, 2018, can receive a live demonstration of the HDL300 system.
The HDL300 audio conferencing system is an advanced innovation that takes an entirely different approach to meeting room microphone technology. At its core is Nureva’s Microphone Mist™ technology, which places 8,192 virtual microphones throughout a room to pick up sound from any location to ensure that everyone is heard clearly regardless of where they are in the room or the direction they are facing. The system uses sophisticated algorithms to simultaneously process sound from all virtual microphones to provide remote participants with a clear and natural listening experience, enabled by continuous autocalibration, simultaneous echo cancellation, position-based automatic gain control and sound masking. The HDL300 system is optimized for small to mid-sized spaces up to 20′ x 20′ (6.10 m x 6.10 m) and has a maximum operating range of 30′ x 30′ (9.10 m x 9.10 m). The HDL system works with all leading UC&C platforms. It installs on the wall in 30 minutes or less and calibration is automatic. Updates to the system’s firmware are also automatic through the Nureva audio manager.
“When we first launched the HDL300 system and Microphone Mist technology, we saw it as a breakthrough in solving the persistent problem of audio pickup in meeting spaces,” said Nancy Knowlton, Nureva’s CEO. “Seven months later it’s very gratifying to receive a TNT award for this innovation, which has been embraced by our growing customer base.”
