Beneath the flashy new video screen, there is a flat panel display with a piece of cloth over it that matches the decor. Lift this cloth away, and it’s hiding three rack-mounted units housing the hardware powering the display. This is the Credenza. At Heckler Design, Josh Silverman shows AV Nation’s Matt Scott how Credenza has two huge differentiators; aesthetics and access to hardware.
Heckler Design is known for creative mounting solutions, and Credenza is no exception. The unit comes with everything needed for mounting on the surface with two contact points, two wire chimneys, and two temperature-controlled fans. It sits about a half-inch off the wall for ventilation. There is also a kit with legs for structural support. With the design aesthetic moving toward more streamlined solutions, the new Credenza is a perfect fit in any setting with a video display.

AVNation is a collective of audiovisual professionals. Our hosts, panelists, writers, and producers all work in the AV industry in some capacity. That gives us a unique perspective on the industry and allows us to ask questions end users, technology managers, IT managers, and AV integrators would ask. Our coverage of InfoComm 2019 comes from these points of view. Everything we are able to do is made possible by our supporters who provide the financial support for AVNation. We are always looking for new voices. If you want to have your point of view heard contact us by clicking here. Let us know who you are and what you have to say.
